What actually caught that fish pop up or boille
ОтветитьI gone to more boilies this year and absolutely smashed it 2 pbs in march and may, I was using pop ups a lot last year and didn’t get much.
ОтветитьWhere abouts was it hooked simon in the middle. In the scissors ?
ОтветитьHi Simon, I've been using your discount code for buying my pva products, however now the website won't open! Is catch-more still in business? Help!
ОтветитьWhere's that video where you first joined prologic I believe? You were sitting in your bivvy similar to this, doing a night session.
ОтветитьSurely a better test would have been to fish both rigs on the same baited area?!
ОтветитьHey Simon. I thoroughly enjoy your videos and you seem like a decent sort. However, I have a bit of a beef with Prologic. I bought some ( 3 plus receiver) SMX II bite alarms around 2 years ago and have had a few gripes. One of the original 3 failed after 12 months and days. Asked the retailer ( Angling Direct) about it. No luck. Out of warranty by literally 2 days. Emailed Prologic. No response. Bought a replacement - brand new - failed after 9 months. Emailed Prologic - no response... I have to say, I am a little disappointed with the customer service I have received from your sponsor. I don't want to drop this on you but I can't seem to get a reply from Prologic. Need to up their game IMO. Tight lines. Jason.
ОтветитьThis comparison doesn’t work, you need to use the presentation that is right for the bottom composition.
In my view, enjoyed watching tho, thanks
Hilarious, you think these wankers were fishing for marlin. Have a shit dry it out put a hook on it you will catch a carp
ОтветитьI've never ever caught on a bright pop-up.
I have, however, on krill pop-ups, just a dull brown colour.
I usually do pretty well with corn and pack bait made of old cookies & stale cereal. Experience has taught me that carp eat anything containing junk food, so it’s not necessary to spend much money for bait. I haven’t touched a boilie in many years.
ОтветитьNice to see your down my favourite lake 👌🏻 my local! Beautiful place and holds some gems in there 😍
ОтветитьHi. I love watching your videos. I would like to see a test between fishing single hookbait pop ups with no feed vs a hookbait with free offerings to create a feeding spot.
ОтветитьGlad video what boilies are they and what size are they plz what kind of pop up are you useing to
ОтветитьThanks si for the info learned so much from you over the last year and I’ve been fishing for 30 years made my fishing so much better cheers mate keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ответить3 things here 1) big loop in the hooklink is for movement with mono you put a sleeve over it 2)a boilie needs to absorb water to release attractors contained in it you are not making it appear as its been in the lake a few days plus u add extra liquid attractant so really you have made it over flavoured as it will already be releasing its own attractors 3) bailiff said 14 wraps but if he isnt stood exactly were u are it will be different he could be a yard further bk or fwd from where u stand
ОтветитьAnother quality video👍🏻
I usually try a rod on each on a new water & see how things progress, pop ups can also work well as singles in the winter but I do feel on pressured waters that bottom baits or wafters always have the edge.
Welldone Simon great fish buddy . All the best Del
ОтветитьSingles straight out the bag for winter at showing fish for me,never easy in winter m8 you can’t catch them at home, great fish m8
ОтветитьPersonally would of fished a Ronnie as the pop up rig.
ОтветитьPop ups catch the angler, bottom baits catch the fish
ОтветитьYou moved to a mono hair over the D now mate?
ОтветитьModern carp fishing is dominated by bright pop ups , & not just in the winter. Think we are missing a trick not going back to straight bottom baits out of the bag, myself included.
ОтветитьI guess it depends on the venue
ОтветитьNice catch Simon, I admire your water craft 👌
ОтветитьIf your fishing the margin on the far bank.. why wouldn't you fish the margin next to you..?
ОтветитьGood work Simon. Lovely common that, especially in the winter. 👍 Phil.
ОтветитьI use bottom baits, or snowmen all year round. And i only use a pop up when i can't present a bottom bait. Nice result though Si.
ОтветитьYou put the rods back onto the far margin you say. How come the camera then shows your lines clearly running left from the left rod and right from the right rod??!!
ОтветитьThe result could have nothing to do with a pop up vs bottom bait, could be purely down to colour. Could have made both bright baits or both natural/drab to get a fair result
ОтветитьGreat video shame we missed the fight maybe you need a go pro strapped to your chest so you don’t miss in future 😉
