thank you for this great tutorial!
ОтветитьUnclear Instructions, accidentally made gta 6
ОтветитьFinally some f** honest explanation lol.
ОтветитьI followed this tutorial and bricked my system and now I know what grass feels like.
I'm just kidding... I'm technopathic, now. This comment is proof.
Great tut bro, but I think you forgot to add Time.deltatime on every second line of code
Ответитьnice touch of explaining what boolean does.
Ответитьhahaha
Ответитьokay but seriously does anyone know a good channel to learn unity ? ive been trying to get into it but every tutorial i came across was exactly like this vid so idk where to start
ОтветитьI got your thumbnail reference! 😂
ОтветитьI tweaked my perlin noise function, but when I ran my game I got Cyberpunk 2077. So I deleted it and started agan.
ОтветитьOoo ooo do Bully 2 next
ОтветитьThis is like my biggest problem with programming tutorials. They always show you what to do (good i guess) but they never explicitly say why you need to do it, or why they are doing it the way they do it and the difference that makes for other methods.
ОтветитьYou definitely copied/bit hard off the "Every programming tutorial" video by Jombo. Still funny though I guess.
Ответить🤣
ОтветитьBrackeys been real quite since this dropped
ОтветитьMost coding courses/academies/tutorials prob SUCKS...
AI's prob many times better at teaching ...
My XP before & after usin AI 's prob a way different... (I prob almost made a coding language & an os...)
Lol
ОтветитьDon't forget the "For the player movement, just copy these 300 lines of code with no comments and no, I wont explain what it does or how it works"
ОтветитьEducation in a nutshell...
Ответитьidk if I just haven't seen enough unity tutorials or if I have a knack for finding good ones but I've never encountered any of these tropes
ОтветитьFor some reason, this is common in the tech field. I work IT and the giy that just trained me did exactly this. Maybe it's reverse imposter syndrome, because they act like everything they're TEACHING you is obvious, and known already. True sign of a bad teacher
ОтветитьSometimes, when we go too far, we forget the place where we began from.
Thank you for reminding me, how does boolean work.
bro i was playing terraria and i got hella confused when i heard the music then he said "we built terraria" and i was like "wait did he just build my game thru the screen wtf"
Ответить"If you can't explain it, you haven't understood it." the main problem of many content creators.
ОтветитьCellular Automata?
Of course I know, it's Near Automata game for Android.
Would you believe me if i told you i learnt more here than from an actual tutorial?
ОтветитьI understood like all of the terms thrown around, and now I feel like a complete genius lol.
JK. like half those words were complete and utter gibberish, and the other half were just random coding words stuck together.
Did I make you feel insecure about your coding knowledge? :)
You forgot to drag the already pre-made script controllers for player prefabs into the component. Literally what Brackeys did multiple times in his videos without explaining how they work.
ОтветитьI've heard they're using this tutorial to develop GTA 6
ОтветитьThere is no way we built terraria, we missed out on the 3522352k lines of if-elseif blocks ....
ОтветитьNoob googling unity tutorial:
- 10 hour video from noob to pro to build pong walking through all the fundamental
- 5 mn video to build terraria
"I'm going to choose the 5mn video it's going to be simpler"
Accurate af
ОтветитьOMG, this was my experience today when I tried to learn how to mod a Unity game! Every video was about how to "easily" mod a Unity engine game!🤣
ОтветитьThe first time a tutorial mentioned events I had an aneurysm and avoided them for the next 6 months.
Ответитьoooh, so true or false! makes sense
ОтветитьAnd then there's the tutorials that painstakingly explain every input they make and it takes like 4 hours.
ОтветитьI used tutorials exactly like this to build my game in Unity.
I never got it working. Could never understand booleans. Thanks so much for this tutorial! You still won't find my game on Unity because I forgot to back it up(the tutorial for that was also reliant on booleans at the time).
Great tutorial!
ОтветитьSo true 😂
Ответить"we made Terraria" 🤣🤣
ОтветитьWhat I hate most is going to asset stores tbh. I can’t even find my files in file explorer 😂
ОтветитьTrue Story
Ответитьaverage c# developer
ОтветитьOh my god this is genius
ОтветитьYou earned my subscribe, you beautiful bastard.
ОтветитьThat's every tutorial in IT
ОтветитьBro really created a bool and assigned the default value to false
ОтветитьIf this isn't the realist shit xD Brackeys does this SOMETIMES.
but the others? fuck it. might as well struggle on your own.
also the "buy this asset for $9083749087234.99" is too real.
Oh, too long. Too much water.
ОтветитьActually quite inaccurate, I haven’t encountered a single tutorial where they mention what ‘using …’ function you need to add at the top
Ответить
