Emma! You are incredible. I had to subscribe immediately! This is such a great idea and I’m glad you explained it. I couldn’t ever do eyeshadow because I have a serious addiction but I’m going to seriously think about this, I keep buying and not using up! The only thing I have used up in the last 3 years of my makeup is setting sprays, a foundation, lots of primers and moisturizers, and my eye creams. I haven’t even used up a normal size mascara. Yep I need to get on board!

Catching up on all the vids and so excited that 10 pan is back!

This has just encouraged me to do this challenge. I haven't touched makeup in a while, so I have a lot of older stuff that has expired. Once I have repurchased new stuff, I will do this so I won't be tempted to buy stuff

You could also use those shades you never use from that Becca palette as eyeshadows! I feel like that deep color would be stunning on the eyes, and maybe the pinky one as a topper.

I have adopted a version of this. Because of lockdown I feel like I was wasting a lot of makeup and just throwing it into the trash. Now I only buy one product f a certain type at a time. I have more lipsticks but I’m only replacing specific shades. I had way too many nudes at one point.

I loove project pans ! I finished a Rokateur minature just early january after working on it all end of 2022 😅 but i must admit it is one easy to use without overdose on the cheeks so nice in a project pan. I replaced it with Kink & Kisses by Marc Jacobs and let me tell you it's really harder ton pan 😆
I also have a Becca palette, tje Champagne pop collab, i almost used up on on the highlighters et the bronzer, but never use the other shades... it's a pity really, maybe I can insist a bit to see if i can use up... we'll see. Personnaly I selected 23 products for 2023 :D

I'm on a makeup no buy. Basically I can only purchase once I've used everything of that product that I own. Rough but worth it.

I literally only have one of each make up item. Hardly any lol!

Yes I love panning videos! I operate on a 'one in. One out' system and its made my collection be a few backups/ products I haven't used yet and one makeup bag. Nothing too crazy.

Just a thought for some of your products, why not try weighing them so you can see a numerical decrease in product? You can do this for the products you won't be able to see progress on, like the lip Tint for example. That way you have something to show in your favourites videos! Just a thought ❤️😊

Can you include non beauty items in your monthly favourites? Snacks etc? 😊😊

Have you tried using the shades you would not normally go for in a face palette as eyeshadows or using them to do the inner eye corner highlight or brow bone highlight? You could use that up in time that way (obvs not having that as a main focus but more of a bonus whenever you’re using that palette). I don’t normally use a highlighter as I’m combo to oily so after a few hours I have my natural highlight 😅😅😅😂 but I have a beautiful fenty highlighter that I’ve started wearing down by using it as eyeshadow when I want a light wash on the eyes or inner corner highlight. It will take me a year to use it up but it worked for me so far..

I'm doing a similar thing to this to try and declutter some of my makeup and skin products xx❤️
