Well I see the problem with the clutter. 1. you have too many things. 2. you purchase more storage items to organize which leads to more clutter. 3. solve it with getting rid of some things, that's what I finally had to do. 🥰

I was also told another great way for closets is using the same hangers for all clothes. Your not the only one. I am a debater when comes to getting rid of stuff in my room.

I have a box that I have that has everything that I physically can't get rid of. It helps free up space and you don't feel bad.

it's funny to see you attached to the many socks that you have and that have been with you for many years, because since childhood, i have never been able to have that many socks and to this day it is a difficulty for me, having to always wash the few socks that i have to to use. i dream of having as many socks as you. however, i loved the video and enjoyed seeing the organizational possibilities. i also organized myself, but using organizers that i made myself with cardboard boxes and sticky paper. i don't have as many things as you do, but still, it's always great to keep our living space organized and clean. i hope it continues like this! i wish you lots of good energy, you seem like a really nice person. hugs to you! <3

I like your idea with naming the sections. It makes it cute and takes up no room. Re the socks. Donate them. There should be no emotional attachment to socks. The homeless will wear them while you won't!!!

Just had the saaame issue with socks today... ... I made the deal with me that I am not buying any more socks until I really need any and until then I just wear the ones I have until they have wholes... Because I think nobody would want my used socks so it would just be trash... And I am wearing them so it's kind of fine to keep them... I most probably never have to buy socks vor my entire life 😂😂

i had the same type of issue as your sock issue! this is where the marie kondo method comes in handy. to let things go, i've found it very helpful to say goodbye and potentially thank the item and then it feels complete/good enough to let go!

It is alright to be attached to something like that. Trust me I have been in the same place. I had some intimates that I didn't wanna get rid of because they were my first and then there were tshirt plus socks like that from my middle school times. I'm 28 btw 😅

Here I'm watching someone else declutter, while my own room is a mess. Also, I wanted to declutter and have a place for all my things so, I got stuff for the stuff for the stuff to keep. Turns out instead of decluttering I ended up hoarding more. Anyone with me on this?

I have socks from when I was 12! I've decided to toss them when they break ... but those things are unbreakable. At least they don't take up much space.

You could turn those socks into plushies for your kitty! That way you’ll still have them and be able to look at them until you are ready to part with them (or not bc now they’ve made memories with your cat 😂😂😂)

Dear Hannah, Thanks so much for all your content, for sharing it and just being so authentic; I feel you so genuine, pure and even funny in your videos; you cannot imagine how much I´m enjoying them since last week when I unexpectedly discovered your channel (Universe!:D).
Yesterday I listened for 1st time one of your episodes and the one that for some reason caught my attention was “Playing the long game” (Universe again!). Afterwards, I just wanted to write a personal comment and say even a bigger THANK YOU: after what seems to me being a long period of solitude - but that I completely chose/keep choosing because I know deep down it´s what I need/is best for me (rather than taking the “shorter/maybe easier path” I think you call) -, yesterday when I was coming home I was really having a “down moment” (even kind of doubting); and I then read the title of your podcast and played it in the tube. Honestly, it just gave so much strength to keep going, made me smile and suddenly feel less lonely :)
