Best 2D Architecture Software

What's the best software that uses DWD files, for the guy who just wants to design a vacation home and not want to spend too much for the software and definitely not a subscription. How about the CAD Libre for free!! Can I make fully acceptable plans to submit to the city. Like starting with a site plan. Also if I have lot reports done for the lot from other contractors can i add them into the plan with this software.

Sounded like a biased ArchiCAD fan. I did not find this useful as you made very less emphasis and explanation on other software's in comparison to ArchiCAD in your video

Best 3d software is Revit. The learning can be time consuming and frustrating but its worth it. Also if you want to work in big organisation then revit is the way to go as it is part of Autodesk AEC suite.
