Very few from California is moving to New York. They are moving to Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Oklahoma, Colorado, Washington, Idaho and Oregon.

People are leaving New York and most are going up and down east coast, mostly to Florida.

People are also leaving Illinois to all its surrounding states.

I live in a very small town in Texas there are so many City people moving in they don't care they play there music loud all night long till the law came over there put a stop to that shit we got about 2 thousand people in my town now can even get a parking spot at the brookshire to get food i live here all my life no one is selling any land i will never sale my land i had land my for a long time i bought it from my dad when I was 16 year's old im 60 now

You people are delusional. This pops up every decade or so during a bad economy and people’s first instincts are to sell their expensive houses and high taxes for cheap houses and low taxes. Then they get there and they realize why houses are so cheap there. It’s so hot it’s almost impossible to be outside for longer than 10 minutes for half of the year. Then in the winter if it stays below freezing for a couple of days it’s an apocalypse with entire grids crash and every water pipe in the state bursting. There’s no mountains or real scenery except for way out west where it’s hotter than hell and an oil rig every block and all you can smell are the chemicals being cooked off. The traffic is awful, the people are comple a holes, and the state government is corrupt as hell. Eventually people remember why houses cost more in California and New York and go back. As someone who lived in Texas, worked in the oil fields all over Texas for 15 years, and recently moved to cooler climates I can honestly say the that there isn’t a single place I’d want to live less than I would in Texas.
