Get the same rifle, or better, the lighter (3,8kg instead of 4,3kg) 125 in .25.. for me, it's the best Ballance between speed, accuracy and "long-range" power.. my 125 does 760fps with the 25,4g kings and even more with the polymags, very accurate (40m, 5 shots, <2cm). This will be your favorite springer if you have that. In term of penetration, it blasted through a wildboars head (had a fresh head around, testet it from 10m)

Have you tried Super Lube (or other silicon base grease such as Dielectric Grease) for "Deslinging" your pellets? Super Lube/Silicon Grease should be Seal/Rubber "Friendly" unlike Petroleum Jelly. You might even get a litter better performance.

The best way to hold a break barrel/spring air gun is,----don't touch it. (as least as you can), and that includes cheek and shoulder. Get good at that, and those 20 yard groups will become your 60 yard groups. Actually, you can hold it anyway you want, but you have to be consistent with all the forces. It is just easier to repeat zero force on the stock, but hard to hold the gun steady. I can out shoot anybody on YT with ease.

I promise you, you will not get consistent speed with dieseling, and it will damage the piston seal eventually. Getting parts from Hatsan is not an easy process.

With a slightly modified pellet, it can do 550 fps, and make up to about 32fpe. You are getting 30fpe. But the heavier pellet holds it's energy better than my .22 29fpe gun. A lot better. What makes it hard for hunting is the slow pellet drops a lot, and you need about 8 mill dots on the scope for a 20-80 yard range. It drops one mill dot every 8 yards on the average. If you can mount a range finder on it for hunting, (and practice a lot), do it. I won't buy another hatsan made in Turkey, because I have a suspicion that the profits may help fun Islamic extremism, just like buying china made products funds communism.
