Although Java is evolving in lightning fast speed , But what about mind set of of Managers and Architect. Many seniors in industry not aware of java 8 changes.
Function as a service or serverless : JVM is still not better option .

It'll be interesting to see if the Java community can leverage the knowledge from Clang and the Rust compiler to actually make a Java-coded JVM actually perform as well as a C++-coded one.

Excellent presentation. Very informative! Unfortunately a lot of the subtleties of British humour were lost to the audience.

Many organizations adopted Java not only because it has cool features but also it's free and open source. I feels people will move to other languages if Oracle continue this businnes model for Java.
