Question, if my brother disowns the family and moves away, how do we contact him if we don't know where he lives?
Also, since he is not a beneficiary, why does he have to be notified?
Would love a full detailed breakdown of everything in a future video or video series.
ОтветитьTrust administration should be something all trust practices inform their clients about as it cost money.
ОтветитьGreat Information, Thank you. What happens if Trustee sells the trust property and distributes the funds to the beneficiaries before the 120 day wait rule in California?
ОтветитьIn California, what if there is an illegitimate child involved and not named in the trust?
ОтветитьThis has been extremely helpful. Thank you for making this video!
ОтветитьI live in Iowa. My mom died while living in IA. I am a beneficiary (+ 2 brothers). We have 3 trusts. My moms now irrevocable trust, my dads irrevocable trust and my mom’s irrevocable life insurance trust that was sold a couple months before her death. I am a joint trustee with 1 brother on my mom’s new irrevocable. He is the only trustee on my dad’s irrevocable trust and her irrevocable life insurance.
I have issues with my brother’s trust decisions and spending of expenses. Is it okay to hire an attorney to speak for me?
What happens if trustee wants to keep the house and the beneficiaries don't
ОтветитьFinally a trust settlement video that actually gives information on how to settle the trust!
ОтветитьDoes there have to be any special instructions in the trust as far as selling assets?
ОтветитьI am failing to understand why you are saying that a trustee has to provide a copy of the will. There is no such requirement in Section 16061.7. The trust/trustee doesn't have anything to do with the will.
It seems like you are mixing together a lot of the duties of a trustee and an executor/personal representative. A trustee can only deal with the trust and trust assets/liabilities. Everything else is done by the executor/personal representative. Things like a personal income tax refund would go to the estate, not directly to the trust.
