Nice vid...I know what you mean about driving an older vehicle that has been in the family. I have my dad's 67 VW bug. Driving it now brings back all those old memories.

I love our 74 fj40. We use ours in a similar fashion as you. I always drop my tire pressure to 15-18 PSI when I trail ride and it makes a huge difference in the ride quality. Not quite as harsh. The traction is also insane when riding at that pressure. There is always a risk of popping it off the bead, but I’m just mindful of that when I’m going down the trail and haven’t had any problems. Love the patina on your rig, keep it that way forever and keep using it like it is supposed to be used. Awesome stuff!

What I love about the FJ40 is you have to drive it. It doesn’t drive itself. Great road/off-road feel!
