My Experience Living in A Poor Village For Two Nights! Life in an African Village is Tough!

That’s village life .In African villages you will mostly find ppl using outside toilet that doesn’t mean they are poor .The host was vey good to you despite the bad exposure. I like the environment it’s beautiful.I believe there are better apartments and abnb in town with nice bathroom and toilets .

Mr Hanley you said it quite correctly....40yrs ago back home here and many other islands but with development we are no longer that way. You are the son of a Nurse and a Police officer so you have never never experienced anything like this but you will survive just follow the basic health laws. Get rest...aplenty on your next stop. Martha will not feel like you. People usually adapt to situations when they see no way out. Good health to you Sir.🙄

I was born in England. Educated, worked, have children, etc etc in England. Both my parents and older brothers are Nevision. Growing up as a child, I spent time in Nevis with both of my grandparents. This is long before you were born, Bjon. So, I saw similar conditions in Nevis. Cut a long story short. I spent a total of almost 7 years in the Gambia and lived in very similar condition, just like what you're showing.. My reason for mentioning this is because i know what's like to have and not to have. Today most of us have every material and the latest, such as proper houses, with good toilets bathroom. Internet electricity, water, and the latest phone. Good schools etc etc... But are we really truly happy. Because the more we have, the more we want..These people may not have much. But they are so humble and kind. They look after one another. No greedy bad vibes and attitude between them. They share with love. Beautiful set of people.. Thanks for sharing your experience in Africa, a place that I love....
