ОтветитьThat’s a great bit of kit, a real problem solver and will save a fortune on new material😊🤟the Teeth are great Son👍
Ответитьwe need to show off a new product
who has the best cameraperson/ editor😎🤠
When Kurtis says "mil" I think he means 0.001 inch, and not "mm", the latter showing up in the accompanying text.
ОтветитьCool beans!!
ОтветитьFull commercial video.
ОтветитьThis new machine is amazing!
ОтветитьWhether it is right for you or not is your decision, but I'm impressed.
ОтветитьWhy didn't Karen get a go?
Ответитьjust noticed you had some work done on your teeth looks great!
Ответитьan awesome vid guys - and very interesting too
..and as for Homie who couldn't love that mutt!
Hi, Side note Dudley where the machine came from made the chain and ancor for the titani. Only few miles from me.
Do you have to watch over spray behind the machine.
Steve
Looking good Curtis. Dentist did a bang up job !
ОтветитьGhostbuster vibes with that gun....
ОтветитьYou can put this towards it if you decide to purchase , and or if you need something else or have lunch on me. It's just good to see some younger folks seeming determined to prove me wrong. THANK YOU
Ответитьwhy not knurl the surface before spray coating ?
ОтветитьThere are so many Kurtises in the shop today!
ОтветитьSo could this be used for cast iron repairs
ОтветитьWould be nice to have some sort of rest to lay that on so you can just move it side to side without having to also hold it up to height.
ОтветитьKurt, ur new choppers("teefs"😂)teeth look good !
ОтветитьKurtis gives all the tech specs and we think ok…Karen says wow and we know it’s good! Boy that’s some machine! 🍺🍺
ОтветитьThat is so cool. Enjoy your new toy…
ОтветитьOnce you're done with the Fanna project, your next project should be to build a rail guide that you can attach this gun to easily. You can then glide the gun forward and back (and in and out for different material widths) and it will be perfectly perpendicular, and also help reduce hand fatigue in the long term.
ОтветитьI was watching the video and had a thought. Years ago I had a good friend who gave me a few ceramic inserts. Use only for final finishes. I used them with coolant and without. Did great. I did alot of A/C repair on aluminum, inconell, titanium, brass. It left smooth finishes.
ОтветитьKurtis, That left a great finish, my question is the hardness, the dozer lift yokes are hard chromed at the bearing surface for durability, would this material be hard enough to use after the surface was finished as you demonstrated ? can it be hard chromed if needed ? also adhesion was also usually the issue with most metal spray technics, it looks like you colder fusion system might be the ticket.
I look forward to seeing more use of this in upcoming videos. Great work !
That is super being the first to get to use that metal spray machine. Great video thanks
ОтветитьI've been in industrial maintenance for 14 years and never knew this was a thing...
ОтветитьThank you team. That gun looks like an expensive homeless toy.😂😂😂.
ОтветитьCan the arc spray gun be mounted to the tool post ? Or off the tool post a rail that you can slide side to side ,
ОтветитьKaren, is orange and black the in colour for men in Australia?
ОтветитьWow! What a new process! Thanks for sharing! 👌👍
ОтветитьThat's definitely a Miller XMT 450 with a top hat
Ответитьwow
ОтветитьVery impressive👏
ОтветитьSounds like youre healing well Kurty. Those new chompers sure are purty.
ОтветитьYou get new teeth Kurtis ?
Ответитьtop job
ОтветитьVery cool!
ОтветитьDoes Australia only have one uniform shirt option? It is odd that they have the exact same shirts.
ОтветитьIs there a maximum/minimum rotation speed of the piece you’re spraying? The diameter of the pieces you’re spraying are going to affect their speed you set your lathe to: there has to be a sweet spot where you put the most material on the piece you’re spraying, so you can’t spin every piece at the same rotation speed. Did they provide charts, or does the unit calculate the rotation speeds for you to set? Curious.
ОтветитьAmazing video work and explanation of the process. I am surprised the company does not offer a holder for the handpiece that can be mounted to the tool post. It would add a more consistent application of the spray material. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьWow, kind of impressive! How does it feel to blast that thing? I ain’t afraid of no ghosts! Who you gonna call?
ОтветитьWill you be looking for an old beat up lathe or some other method should you purchase this?
Ответитьit looks like something from Outerspace..
ОтветитьIts looks like, but Ghostbusters use more advanced technology. they have light backpacks....
ОтветитьWaww interesting
ОтветитьIt looks like a Ray Gun from a Sci Fi movie :)
ОтветитьI have questions 🙋♂️
When using any arc welding technique Co2, Argon or some other gas other than air is used. Obviously just compressed air is used for plasma cutting but you are just blasting the molten metal out of the way and don’t care about oxidisation. So how come you don’t have to worry about that when using this process?
