ITALY TRAVEL VLOG | A WEEK IN LAKE COMO & FLORENCE

Hey friends, in this week's vlog I bring you along to Lake Como & Florence with us! We recently spent 2 weeks in Italy and these were the first two stops on our trip (we also briefly stopped in Milan & Bologna which is in the vlog too)! RESTAURANT/BAR RECOMMENDATIONS -

LAKE COMO
Mandarin Oriental (COMO bistrot) - pretty pricey but such a gorgeous setting and great cocktails. Perfect people watching spot
Villa Lario - if you're staying nearby then definitely book to have drinks on the jetty. The restaurant for dinner is lovely too
Bilacus - lovely garden setting overlooking Bellagio
Cafe Varenna/Bar il Molo - two cute lake view spots in Varenna. Food isn't the best ever but they're affordable and good spots for a quick lunch
Entoca re di Quadri - loved this little wine bar in Mennaggio! There's a really good gelato place next door too
Trattoria San Giacomo - we couldn't get a table here but looks like a really good spot in Bellagio. Get there early to put your name down! They own the wine bar across the way too which is a nice spot for pre/post dinner drinks

FLORENCE
Buca Lapi - incredible Bistecca! Really traditional/authentic restaurant with a great ambience and really good wine
Babae - the wine window bar. Definitely go for a pre dinner drink here! Everyone stands around on the street and it's really cute
La Menagere - didn't show this in the vlog but this is a really good bar for post dinner drinks. Cocktails were fab!
Vivoli - amazing affogato!
All’Antico Vinaio - the best focaccia sandwiches! They have 3 shops on the same street so you can't miss them! The queues are long but move pretty quick
