I prefer to watch hours after hours of video and see the progressed as everything getting build from nothing
trust me the edited one is not bad even i like it as i can quickly catch up with what i miss when i don't have time
but i enjoy it as it take so much time to play this game to get some where and i want to see every second of it :)

ОтветитьI'm getting pretty sick of hearing the Robot says Turrets as if it's the swearing speech impediment. It's pronounced Turrits...but spelled Turrets. It's pretty annoying when the game developers can't speak proper Engrish!

ОтветитьI started my world with default settings for the dark fog. It feels to easy, I'm wondering when it gets harder 😅😅I don't want to restart again to set it harder
ОтветитьKeep in mind this is still being worked on. Like in factorio enemy bases need some early game survivablity so they can be threats into the mid-game. Late game you should be able to wipe them easy and the real threat then would be the hive. I think bases need missile defense or missiles need to be nerfed in some way. Not a numbers nerf but a mechanics nerf.

ОтветитьThe way the dark fog 'thinks' is well designed by the devs. Whilst it could spend a ton of resources angrily attacking you after you evicted their relay station, it understands that it'll be more efficient to just let you off the hook and spend its effort colonising planets it knows you aren't on. It's a shame that it doesn't know that the Icarus has plot armour.
ОтветитьThe threat not increasing when you force them to leave makes a little bit of sense. After all, you only displayed the ability to beat them back on the ground, and, as such, aren’t that much of a priority. However, as you said, if you attack the relay station, you display the ability to become a very serious threat, and therefore bump up your position on the to-do list.

ОтветитьI like how all the dark fog buildings and units have defined roles and resource and construction requirements. Its like you're playing a factory sim while the dark fog are playing an rts/tower defense but they are still playing by some form of rules where they need to gather and distribute resources to build what they build.

ОтветитьI don't know exactly why this game works for me more than Factorio, but there's something about the visuals and gameplay loop that works for me much better. The Dark Fog definitely have some tweaks that'll need to be made, but from an overall design perspective I think they absolutely nailed it 10/10. They look great, they have a well-established unique logistics mechanic that contrasts the player's, and the combat (for now) feels satisfying. Changing balance is minor, they hit all the necessary goals to make the combat fit the existing factory game. Now if only the devs could figure out how to do a robotic voice more like GLaDOS than the awful AI voice they have now, because dear lord I hate it >_<

Ответитьas a new player to the game i'm at a complete loss as 2 what he is using to have upper and lower belts including the building thats doing it as well, because he seems to have done a fair bit before the first attack
Ответитьif i could play this game with a friend I would be more inclined to play it. I just get overwhelmed by the production line and logistics of the game and if i could share the load with another it would be great. otherwise this is a great game.

DSP has so many instances where a particular item is only used to build one building, so it doesn't seem to make sense to put that item on a bus, but then do you just not build those buildings in the hub, or do you bring those items in some other way? If they're not in this hub, will you have some other kind of hub to build those?
Most of the late game buildings fall into this category. E.g. mk 3 assemblers are the only building that needs particle broadband, advanced miners are the only building that needs optical grating crystals, plane smelters are the only building that needs unipolar magnets quantum chemical plants are the only building that needs strange matter, etc.
