Dual streaming PC audio setup using Voicemeeter - STEP BY STEP GUIDE

Hello! I have another question. I can see that the Mic and Game System are on separate tracks on the Voicemeter Banana but for some reason when OBS receives it, it is on the "Mic/Aux" track for OBS. The properties it uses in OBS for Mic/Aux is VoiceMeter Aux Output. How do I configure the settings so I can separate the Mic and Game Systems on separate audio sources on OBS? I've been testing it out and cannot get it to work. Thanks in advance!

Worked for a night and that was it. Can't figure out what's broke. Saved settings, locked the GUI, thought I did everything I could to preserve it.
All I have coming from the gaming PC is the the game audio. Made it hard to follow this. Wish I could find a tutorial on game sound only - no mics, chili recipes, 7zip, discord....

Honestly, it would be nice if a $250 card carried audio in the first place.

Couple of things -
Your background colors are both blue - really hard to keep the stream and game setups separate. Made mistakes several times because I didn't know what machine you had up.
Labels for which machine you were on would be helpful too.

ten hours. the fix was getting the digital audio to register on the streaming pc. thank you

everytime i set my default mic to voicemeter input i lose all sound.

This is amazing!! You did a really nice job for user to follow along. Like you I'm using RDP to connect to remote to streaming rig. Only issue I had with this setup was audio routing from RDP. Fix was before connecting via RDP > More Options > Local Resources > Remote Audio > Settings .. > Play on Remote computer. You have saved me so many hours, thank you!

hi there i setup everything as told, my streaming pc has sound from my gaming pc. but i cant hear sound from my streaming pc and idk whats the issue

hey you probably wont see this but when I do the vban steps my gaming pc dosent get any incoming streams and i made sure everything is correct on my streaming pc and that the streams are on and same name everything step by step but i dont get anything, and my stream pc does get the incoming but when i put in the ip to recieve my mic and system sound nothing i also disabled fire wall. please help me out thank you

I know there’s a small chance you’ll see this, but everything in the audio network configuration is good besides on my stream pc, I don’t get a green light from the system sounds coming from my gaming pc. Any ideas? VBan on the game pc does recognize the audio. IP addresses are correct. Just no connection?

Is there a way to separate the mic and desktop?

In vban for incoming streams my gaming pc don’t detect my streaming pc but my streaming pc detects my gaming any help ?

How can I seperate my game audio now? Sometimes the game is too loud for the stream viewer but for me its okay, someone got an idea?

I know this is 2 years old but this has helped! one question i have is what if i use Nvidia Broadcast as ma main source to eleminate background noice?

Also it's a great idea to mention that if you reset your router for any reason, power cycle, power goes out.....etc that your PC's IP address will change and you will need to make these changes accordingly in vban. Super easy to correct.

Thanks. this video really helped. But at the end, when setting the mic to aux output in OBS, that is where all your audio comes though, not just the mic. I was stuck at this point until I noticed my mic meter reacting in XSplit. Otherwise, best and easiest to follow tutorial.

Does anyone on this thread stil reply? My streaming PC immediately sends audio to my gaming pc crystal clear as soon as I apply. However, my gaming PC is NOT sending either my microphone OR system audio to my streaming PC even with IP's correct and all linkage confirmed. Anyone aware of what firewall or other issue could be present?

I don't think this a clear at all he goes very fast in a confusing way....I have watch other videos where they are more straight forward and at the end of this video he said reach out to him to clarify...so he can charge you....don't like!

Hi, is it possible to get the streaming PC audio to come out of separately on the streaming PC? So I don't have to change inputs every time I want to do something on it off-stream. If you could get back to me that'd be great :) I tried routing the streaming system audio through A1 as well as B1 to get it through my headset. I only hear the stream audio via my gaming PC even with A1 checked.

I’ve been using this for a few months now and it’s worked perfectly however I turned off my PC and it was reset so I rewatched the video and now I can’t get audio from my streaming pc to my gaming pc

Ive set alerts to b2 on streaming pc and a1 on gaming like you suggest and set all vban stuff up like you say, but i'm not getting sound alerts on my stream

Anyone else dealing with distorted audio after all this?

I'm running into an issue where the audio from my streaming computer is not showing up in Voicemeeter on the gaming computer. All lights are green in VBAN, and VBAN on the gaming computer is detecting the stream but nothing shows up in the VM mixer when I play sounds on the streaming computer. I've made sure that my firewall on both systems is allowing both VM and VBAN through. Hardware out is set to the correct speakers on both systems as well. Both systems are running Windows 10. Any thoughts?
