I'm not sure this is true, but I heard that if you suck on a Countach exhaust pipe, it gives you relief from Tesla range anxiety. Can anyone confirm this?
ОтветитьIain, I see you have some Wera screwdrivers, I'd love a video or two on tools
ОтветитьI am 6' 4" and somehow squeezed into a LP 5000 QV once. My head was right up to the roof but the thing I noticed the most was the lack of space where the pedals are located. I had heard that some people prefer to drive with no shoes on just so their feet can use the pedals without shoes hitting more than one at a time. Amazing car! Beautiful car and yes that sound. V12 all day any day baby!
ОтветитьIan, thank you for sharing your wonderful world and experience with us.
ОтветитьThe color combination is stunning! What a magnificent machine.
Ответить8060 kilometers = 5008 miles
ОтветитьBack to the Future
What if a lamborghini countach would look like as a Time Machine?
Is powder coating the aluminium tank not an option to protect the outside from corrosion?
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful video of this beautiful car. I love that Iain is not afraid to give it a good spanking when it's warmed up, drive it like it was meant to be driven, gave me goosebumps! A testament to great engineering and also Iains ability to maintain these majestic machines. That interior is simply sublime, especially those lovely curved seats. I too grunt and groan as I get into my '08 SLK55 but I still get giddy when I drive it, and that's what it's all about. Well done, Iain and team! 👏🏽
Ответить'factory but scruffy' ? you mean authentic patina, Iain ? there can't be a more authentic Countach in existence, outside of Arabia
ОтветитьThank you for sharing.
ОтветитьBeing a quintessential, Englishman never gets old the way Ian delivers every line like we are there next to him, makes you pause to listen to every sentence. Every video is an education…
ОтветитьNeed a gentle shoe horn i rembember my father being shoe horned into a narrow door milk float as a child he was extra huge 25 stone but only 5ft 1 always wore a white lab coat so looked like snowball on legs but lads in the dairy used broom handles to get him in but had to pop the windscreen to get him out
ОтветитьI love this for a sat am. Relaxing.
ОтветитьHmm? Seems your calculator batteries are flat... those numbers don't add up... 8060km is more like 5008 miles. Not that it detracts from another excellent video
ОтветитьHow tall is Ian? I am curious if I would be able to fit in Countach too, how tall person can fit I wonder
ОтветитьWas it easier to get into during the 80s?? Love the channel
Ответитьthat 2022 Countach is just hideous.
Ответитьa million times no, atight fit just getting the car no viisibility, dont handlle well not very fast hard to service thank god for porsche
ОтветитьBest comedic low key getting in a Countach award.
ОтветитьThe Countach has to be in the top 3 car designs that have stood the test of time so perfectly.
One thing, it could use some big spacers to get those wheels out. They sit so deep inside the wheel arches. Of course that’s blasphemy.
Ps I never realized there was a low and high body version!
ОтветитьI just watched one of your videos. Were can a body man get a collision repair manual like I use on all other cars here in the states. Please let me know .
ОтветитьTyrrell sounded like he was dropping a deuce fitting into that countach
ОтветитьThe view from the wing with the engine exposed gives it all the more Star Trek vibes 😊 What an incredible piece of art.
ОтветитьThat noise…. Oooft! ❤
ОтветитьBeautiful, and you’re 💯 right, electric cars are fantastic but without the soul and sound of a V12
ОтветитьDid it make it to Italy and back?
ОтветитьThis is a real otomobiel with his V12. What a wonderful sound.
Ответить“I’m sure it did until about 30 miles per hour” 😂😂😂 Fantastic review of a fantastic automobile!
Ответить8060 km is 5008 miles. Just multiply kilometers by 0.6 to get a rough conversion. Still, crazy low mileage though ! 😊
ОтветитьWould love to see a one hour compilation of Iain getting in and out of various low slung supercars...🙂
ОтветитьThat color. That sound. My god. 😍
ОтветитьI sympathize with getting in and out
ОтветитьLoved the way everything in the business end works so synchronized. And the car sounds just amazing!
Ответитьim amazed its LHD... english show.. english cars are RHD so the guy bought a LHD car to england..... ok i can run with that
ОтветитьWhat does “sympathetic” restoration mean?
ОтветитьWait... this design is as old as me? 52?
ОтветитьMany thanks Iain a polite dig at EVs came has quite a shot out of the blue! the great thing about the fascination we have with cars is they all have a face, a body , breath and make a sound, they can make you smile and make you cry that's why we love them or hate them, its more than a journey its a way of life
ОтветитьYeah! The car is the same in size! We do change!! (A little)! Smile! Could we blame the pub?
ОтветитьThis is the best technical motoring show that I ever saw in my whole life. The experience, the knowledge, the dedication, the attention to detail, just the love for real cars (the real thing, not the "plastic-fantastic-electrified" tubs that we see today) and the treatment that they receive from this gentleman, with fine sense of humour and humbleness are just outstanding. Enjoining every minute of every video. Keep it up! Cheers!
ОтветитьY'know what, you've sold me! I'll take three
ОтветитьNow that Her Majesty the Queen is gone, Ian is the national treasure of Great Britain
ОтветитьI thought "Countach" was the mustache you get after pleasing a woman's lady-garden.
It's a badge of honour.
Car is designed for short slim people. So low to the ground I would need to roll out onto the parking lot to have a chance of escaping from the cabin.
