Borderlands 2: Explaining How Master Gee works! + Killing him

My easy way to kill Master G, is Hyperion Longbow Singularity Zero Fuse, and Crush Him

Kinda useless for anyone except Salvador. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I still prefer to gate crush him .

No despite popular belief he is not the worst designed boss, that would be voracidous, oh and he isn't invincible, just super duper high damage reduction, I was damaging him with high BAR stacks

Besides Voracidous, Gee is a little b*tch

How tf do you know if he has "malowan parts" unless you've somehow memorized every damn weapon part in the game?

2023 UPDATE (NOV. 1, 2023). Going through 1 made his HP tick down much slower by the time acid got to it so I ran him through 2. I'm timing how long it takes; I'll edit this comment if the time it took to wait changed any.

EDIT - Wait time changed. 50 minutes instead of 1 hour.

why doesn't the floor get flooded with some sort of acid for you but it does for me?

I know my comment is late but I love how he has been shooting him for 5 minutes straight with an op8 interfacer while slagged and this dude has not lost a millimeter of his shield. Let me put that into perspective. He has 20 times more health than he has a shield. 20 times people.

Master Gee is the easiest raid boss imo. I had little trouble against him even being under leveled with interior gear

My entire arena turned into an acid pool. I went to the gate and just survived his arrows and the worms. The poison damaged directly his health bar. 5 to 7 minutes to die.

I have a purging infinity/with corrosive on it which I used and it took me 10 minutes to kill him if anyone would like to borrow it on PS4

This is one of the worst boss battles in history. And I thought Hyperius was hard? Jeeez.


You can't even play the game. You shoot a few worms and pray that A: the game damages his shield and not his health B: the acid is consistent and doesn't just kill you anywhere on the fucking map and C: what weapon he has, which is more in your control but still.

This boss was so easy just let in absorb the acid pools and run away till he dies the more stacks the faster the process

Hi there, just wondering if anyone can explain what is actually happening here? For some reason it's not clear to me (maybe because I've only ever played as Maya). Which skill stacks up extra damage and how do the acid pools help? I noticed that you pointed to the Fistful of Hurt skill as being the most important to this strategy but I don't understand what this has to do with the stacks you refer to or why you need to punch him out of the acid pools.

After this a then went to solo him on my first try thank you for the video

One time it glitched to where is health just went down instead
But that was my first fight ever with him so I fucked up

Went back on Borderlands 2 the other week to finish off trophies and fought this guy by staying in melee range so he followed me and just backed up around the arena whittling his shield and health down with everything I had, died 4 times and second winded on the worms, it was a long fight and just felt really broken

I truly hate this boss.
Why would they design a boss that you only damage his shield is by traps and not by your weapons, no matter how powerful.
I hate to see any more bosses that are like this in Borderlands 3...

He's more of an endurance test than a challenging boss. But at least he has mechanics... Unlike Vorac, which is just bullshit...

Wanna cheese him? Get gaige. Do buck up glitch. Kill a worm. Hide behind rock near the gate. XD

What if you're not Sal? What if you're not lvl 72? This doesn't really help much
