The Fake Solar Company That Stole A Billion Dollars

Hes not a good mechanic. Wish you didn't try and make him seem like this mechanical wizard. No mechanic knows everything you need to know. Also if he's buying cheap parts from Mexico then he's a scumbag.

I work in solar, and was offered some of those trailers in an auction. I didn't know the story behind them had so much intrigue.
I didn't participate in the auction. I needed trailer-mounted solar modules, but I was building the modules, not buying them. The diesel generator was just dead weight I'd need to get rid of. I ended up building my own trailers, and they are in my backyard to this day.

Greed will make a lot of people overlook obvious hints. For the investors, the stars were aligning and I could see being duped simply because your returns were coming in. The problem is that all the people about midway through were just fueled by greed and wanted this to be good because it's free cash.

So typical, the guy gets 30 years and the female partner who is 100% as guilty gets 11 years. Why?

The real scam that caused all this? The Green Power Incentive.

Pauletta and his brother should have shared the same 30 year stretch.

Investors, companies, didn't care because they enjoyed a great tax evasion by 《helping》.

As they have done and will continue doing!!

Take some of that money and pay some engineers to make a good product and watch the problems vanish naturally....but common sense is lost on some people.

I am allways suprised how people that scamm 100s of Millions $$$, can not find a guy, a fall guy, that would sighn all the documents,was owner of a company on paper, pay him 10% of the funds,they earn....
so when police comes,the fall guy goes to prison,and you get away...
guess they are too greedy to that....
where I live, you can find guys that will manage a company (on papers) for 1000$/month....so when police comes,he is the one responsible....
usually homeless and drug addicts are the ones that sighn those "deals"....
and usually they dont get more that 5 years in prison, as even the judge knows they are beeing exploited...

These investors were complicit in this fraud,with plausible deniability.Theycould say that they were just taken.Maybe the same scenario in the Sam Bankman scam applies.If he got 30 yrs,wonder what’s going to come down for Sam,the Left’s darling.

To establish offshore accounts long ago at inception level with assitance would have been a brighter more well planned business model, or to at least have traveled to another country to have better footing if the shit hit the fan this is classic American Greed

I've done what I loved, and worked my ass off for my entire life. I designed the best lawnmower in the world. Still looking for investors - and gas mowers are about to be banned in CA & other areas.

Every time I go grocery shopping, I see one of these portable things with a bunch of solar panels, I think it's for security cameras or something.

Could have easily spent the money to get 5 specialist in solar energy and mechanical designs and would have easily become a legitimate billionaire.

Imagine being a 100% made man because you had some basic shit in your garage and by pure chance knew a guy then you fumble the bag like this. This man was forced into being a billionaire and just wouldn't stand for it.

He was set up for total success, legitimate and perfectly reasonable, but stupidly didn't get a qualified engineer to help with the design for the final product. What an idiot.

For me I just had to look at the trailer. Judging by the number of panels each trailer had, I'd guesstimate that on a good day that can produce around 1.5 kW at 100 percent efficiency. With that we can power up a small room air conditioner. But at the regular efficiency of 15 percent? Probably charge our cell phone. Charge an EV? Around 70 of dem trailers. So just by looking at the number of panels, using Google, and some math it looked like it wouldn't work.

Oba:ma is a cro:ok too so it doesn't surprise me he became a part of the crime.

I grew up in Martinez and was friends with Jeffs son. My dad reflects on how he always knew jeff was a scam artist well before all of this happened

You know what's funny is I did grow up in a trailer park, my best friend's father was a former Hell's Angel, and one day he pulled out a handgun from under the seat of his car to show us. :D
