This movie looks corny now, but if you were 13 in 2004, its one of those flicks that blew your hair back.

I have a theory behind this.

Knowing glocks, you can have a thing called “out of battery” where the slide is pushed back enough to make the trigger useless.

But i hypothesize that when dood pushed the gun to his head, he got somewhere between in and out of battery, pushing the slide back just enough to take enough spring pressure off the striker to release it, but at just enough power to dent the primer but not initiate the priming compound.
