How NOT to End a Show | The Flash Season 9

A plot hole i noticed is that eobard thawne states both in season 1 and 9 that eddie is historically irrelevant so either thawne lied or he was misinformed or the writers forgot but eobard thawne just said it in the season 9 finale so my question is what changed in eobard thawnes history from season 8 and 9

The thing about the reverse flash origin is that it’s actually both the one we see in earlier seasons and the later seasons. Eobard didn’t learn he was the reverse flash until after he got " humiliated " by Barry. The show skips over how much of a sociopath Reverse Flash is because once he gains his powers he does a lot of petty/ horrible things to people who were already in his life. He just had the ego to think he could be a better hero so the day he tries to be the best hero ever he actually fails and Barry has to step in or else people would get hurt. Because of this he goes completely mental and learns that he is actually destined to be Barrys greatest villain and that breaks his mind even more to the point he can only think about is hurting The Flash.

Hated the Kione storyline. They did my girl Caitlin wrong 😭. When they started adding other forces and gods and stuff— it just lost me. Where’s the science and detective work? I miss those days.

I always imagined how the show could ended with flash runing and then dissapearing like a hero just like how earth-90 flash disappeared, I NEVER IMAGINED THIS DISGUSTING ENDING

I like season 9 but it’s just the villians are bad and some filler are boring a little

Didn't see the season - the reviews are more interesting. But spent half the video confused about Ryan - I thought he was the paragonn of humanity. Then it turned out to be the villain. lol. Though I didn't realise Oliver returned as the Spectre/Arrow. Will watch that episode, of course.

Also, thanks for confirming it was Dreamer. I thought I was hallucinating. Now I'm homesick for Arrow. I hope they revive it.

First few seasons were the worst ones

I recently rewatched the first season of the Flash, and it actually holds up really well! Seasons 1 and 2 have an underlying theme of discovery (meta-humans, time travel, the multiverse), something the show really lost later down the line. Also, the absolute character assassination of Eddie in season 9 pisses me off to no end

I think the actors were good, the characters were good, but good actors and good characters can only be so good if saying the “writing was trash tier” is a insult to trash tier writing

I was hoping they would "over tax" the negative speed fource, slowing down all speedsters. The mention it in the anamated flash point, even though it's not comic accurate, it's the only thing that makes since.

I’m sorry (I’m not sorry) but EVERY episode’s plot revolves around Berry running up to the bad guy and talking to them until they either get a way or do something bad.
One episode will show him searching an entire city in seconds and the next episode will have a bad guy hide himself in a little smoke and the Flash is like, guess I lost him.

Honestly even in that episode with Oliver, their general behavior towards the "evil" guy just seems... really douchy, out of all the bad guys we get he legitimately seems like one of the few that deserves a good old chat, since his motivation can easily lead to that, but then they start to shit on him and let him rot in jail, you know, the same people who saved Thawn, someone who's a million times worse and has committed heinous crimes against humanity, it just seems very out of character (well more so than usual anyway)

You probably put more effort into this video than the writers put into the last 3 seasons

The only improvement that came this season was the camera angle…

First complaint about Barry talking instead of using his powers is the entire basis of why this show exists.

The idea of a met dampener that's effective against any and all metahumans even ones from the future other universes is not possible it's flawed and shouldn't even be possible

Arrow is still The Best Best Character we have then is only Flash
Arrow Feel's Great Because he's been a Human Getting to Superhuman level
And Him as Spectre is Still One Of the Best characterization in CW

Meanwhile writers after Season 3 Made Flash OP permanently for 1 minute and the next 22 Minutes is Him getting his 🍑 handed to him
Like just make the Abilities Temporary
And S9 Could've Been Made Great if Writers did have some total brain activity
I would Take Titans S4 and Doom Patrol S4 Over Flash S9 Anyday
Even though Doom patrol S4 don't Hold up to its S1 to S3 It Had a Good Farewell to Its Characters and Titans is 💩 but S4 Had some Good Point's and the Ending Just Mwah(Not revolutionary but still Good)

Stopping watching this show might be the best decision that I have ever taken in my life
