Then they went out to the other island only to get stranded. Their son had got the berries and took them on the boat. Then paddy at them then their parents thought he was dead. Then they ate the berries.

I think it’s fascinating how a lot of people try to use the blue Lagoon in the past to try and recertify certain gender roles. But this movie sort of combats that with the mother being an all-time bad ass provider and caregiver at the same time. It just comes to show human beings will do what’s necessary to survive when the time is nigh, But we also have the ability to utilize our compassion and warmth for the greater good

Very odd movie, no real objective or end goal. A bunch of random stuff that's there for seemingly no reason. The tribe for example, they were just there and then we got to hear nothing more from that aspect. The whole cruise ship thing was also incredibly useless, I guess if I had to twist it in some kind of way, it would be to show that their love is "unbreakable". It is from 1991 so I guess it makes sense

It is hard to see that the actress in this movie is also the protagonist in Resident evil series.
