BEST Smart Lights for Transforming Your Office!

Even though I'm moving to smart switches now, I tend to prefer the Lifx bulbs for 2 reasons. 1. They remember their last powered state, so if power goes out in the middle of the night they won't wake you when the power comes back on. 2. They are able to be locally controlled, so if the internet drops or lags, you can still control them on your local wireless network from the app. I used to use the Sengled bulbs, which are great, but when I lost power I lost the ability to control all my bulbs. Things to think about.

One thing I did is wrap LEDs (strips) around my speaker stands then put paper or lampshade material around it to diffuse the light (and hide the eye sore of the stands)

but isn't it weird to work in a dark office space? you only have lighting behind your monitors...

What brand aluminum channel did you buy/recommend for your vertical led light strips in the corners of your office?

Would you recommend sticking to a specific brand when buying lights strips like philips hue throughout the house?

When you came in the room and the strip turned on blue and went up the wall sequentially is that a function that can be set in the Govee app? the sequential part im sure it was triggered by motion

Question for you I know you review all kinds of devices different manufactures, but why not stick with what you like for your office why mix so much, so many different echo systems that dont always play well together? You are using Govee then Nano Leaf??

I'm sure everyone eats up this RGB garbage, but can you talk about high quality white lights with warm dim that you actually use for your main house. Light strips opposed to bulbs. There aren't any good reviews/recommendations at all other than for under cabinet lighting.

Because lumen isn't the measurement of the brightness..

The nano leaf lights look AMAZING but I can’t justify spending $400 on a single light feature (even if I could afford it)… I guess I’ll just wait for some cheaper options.
