Asmongold Fights Uber Lilith in Diablo 4

Can anyone enlighten me? Why are we calling her Uber Lilith instead of simply torment Lilith?
The fight from what I can tell is nothing like previous Uber bosses in previous Diablo games, particularly in the sense that those bosses required special methods and components to spawn, why then are we calling a highest difficulty boss an Uber?

Am I missing something?

Pretty sure that whirlwind barb is a very specific type of barb that you need to gear spec and not level spec. It’s also an add clear build, not boss dps

God he sucks so bad at this game. How does he even have fun playing like that?

I have no interest in fighting Uber Lilith, she already had her chance and I killed her, it’s already over sorry she died pathetically

Im a 75 rogue and got to her second phase today in about 5 minutes, shes really not that hard just annoying broken hit boxes on her attacks they need to fix

I just noticed how low his dmg numbers are, im 75 rogue and hit for almost just as much as his lvl 100 barb? Did barb get nerfed that bad or does he just suck at building a toon?

I have never unserstood what people like about Diablo games.

Blizzard devs and their family (lets not forget about them) were testing uber lilith using god mode.

D2 allowed you to mix in some frenzy and shit and still be viable... build diversity like that was totally possible and didn't feel like a sacrifice. This design philosophy is wack.

Why does the damage seem off? I watched it back in x0.25 and the highest hit in the first attempt was one att about 700k, a couple 500-600s then range from 400-100k quite often.. Is Asmon just not well geared or is it just the barb that is trash?! Honestly asking cus I dont know about his gear..

That big "Shit" Asmon let out would have happened 30 fights earlier with me and for every fight thereafter.

Asmongold: Diablo is just not fun.

Also Asmongold: plays boring 1 button builds.

Even extremely hardcore players that play every day all day as their jobs, Wudijo and Rax, arguably (some of the) two best ARPG players in the entire world took 700-800 attempts with literal perfect builds, extreme damage from bugged poison trap, perfect gear, cheesing the wave placement and using rogues with dashes that cheese all mechanics of this fight. Wudi also tanked 3 different oneshots in his Lilith kill (wave, skull and claw) that would instakill any other character.

There is pretty much no target audience that enjoys this fight without cheesing her.

This is like watching a someone spam the same move over and over again in a fighting game. Boring.

Dont feel bad dude no barbarian has been able to solo uber lilith in pre season 1. They left us so completely broke and they are releasing patch notes as "Seasons" now. GG blizz I got better things to do.

The uber Lillith fight design, for me, just underscores the short-comings of D4 in general. Her damage is something completely scripted. This series of attacks is just your normal stuff, but this "magic thingie" insta-kills you if it touches you. It's not a tactic. It is lack of vision on how to make a proper opponent and a dismissive statement toward all the defensive stats on your character.

Want to see a fun boss fight where the mechanics and boss threats are actually understandable and thus avoidable intuitively as opposed to by rehearsed repetition? Go see the monk fight vs boss from the Exilecon 2023. How about Detlaff fight from Witcher III.

Definately needed more damage. Took me about 30x tries at 100 to learn the mechanics. After seeing As do this i don't feel bad as a sorcerer doing it. The hardest part i found was the hitboxes on the waves. Absolutely they were off. The waves are one hit no matter what.

Tried a few times and quit. It's not that she, herself, is hard. It's the stupid sh^t waves that's annoying. If you have any lag whatsoever, you're dead. Unfortunate

I've tried for days and have no idea how you're supposed to dodge the spike waves. I have very good damage and can melt down a quarter of her HP in around 3-4 seconds, but then she goes immune and starts spamming waves, and I just die every time. Often it looks like I'm well out of range of the spikes, but still die instantly to them anyway. Sometimes I die the instant the black lines appear, before the spikes even spawn. It seems to be entirely unpredictable from which direction they're going to come from, and you've only got like 0.25 seconds to react when the lines appear. I've looked at guides, and it almost seems like the waves are either bugged or they increased the speed at which they spawn and move, because they seem much slower and are more reliably dodged in the guide videos I've been watching.

If it was easy, everybody would’ve done it… it’s bragging rights for the top players.. like, for instance I will never beat Lilith

0 skill . when she goes up you must face your character outside the circle so she casts the wave from behind than you can just double evade. same works for triangle ( when she goes up you go full to one side - wait for animation to appear on screen and press two times evade ) this guy thinks he is some pro but he is actually 0, same goes for WoW or any other game he played. 20 years as a gamer and he can`t beat a boss. LoL you should play SIMS or GTA
