No offense intended, but unless they gave you that bike for free… I wouldn’t ride a Royal Enfield to a junk yard… those bikes literally fall apart while you ride. The Honda is clearly a better all around bike especially when it comes to fit and finish

Hello Noraly, Good to see you back in India. A little correction. Actually, the map that you have is Indian version of J&k and Ladakh. But in reality, it is partially occupied by Pakistan and China, which is called as POK and Aksai Chin. So, the Leh is in India and the village Turku you have been to is near the LOC( Line of actual control). So, its just 206Kms that you have travelled and its 660Km to the actual Pakistan border from Leh.

about three months ago I bought a new bike. Now I am trying to get comfortablein the bike know how many ways it can break and how I'd go about fixing it myself. So, now the dream to go leh seems closer than ever. Maybe end of next month. also currently saving funds and simultaniusly preping the bike.
