You should enable sound when you clean computers like that, it kinda loses its charm without the sound of the leafblower and airdusters.

That's one way to clean out a computer,don't know they get soooooooo dusty,last time I cleaned out my gaming computer,was first thing this year,now full of dust,even got dust filters in it,still don't stop dust going through it,I take my computer completely to bits,clean it with cotton buds

man the standards are high on PSU. if it is too dirty and risky to be cleaned just replace it right away. Dang! i wish i had the funds.

Good thing I have a 600 power supply a 950 Nvidia and 120gb ssd and a 4gb memory card in a 12 or 8 year old bitzpc desktop reat is factory stuff lol and keep it clean 👌 all for 200.00

Instead of buying this completley unnecessary overkill PSU, in this case, the guy should have bought a Straight Power Platinum (wich is less than half the price) and a proper case with cable managment possibility for the spare money. There are plenty of smaller cases with cable managment possibilities.

EVEN IF YOU DID GET A SMALL ZAP...ITS NOT GOING TO KILL YOU UNPLUGGED, BECAUSE THERE IS NO CURRENT. ELECTRONICS 101 MY MAN. IF YOU WERE SCARED OF A LITTLE CAP ZAPPING YOU, YOU CAN SIMPLY DISCHARGE THEM. I DO THIS EVERYDAY. SO, YOUR EXCUSE IS TOTAL BULLSHIT.

When I cleaned out my fans and case a couple days ago my idle temps are down 10-15 degrees and under RPCS3 load my temps are down 20 at least. And my computer was nowhere near as bad as this but my radiator had a lot of dust on one side.

10 year warranty on the psu… but if it gets too dusty just replace it 😜

Power supplies can be deep-cleaned very safely. There is no need to dispose them. Once unplugged, all capacitors will self-discharge within minutes and they don’t hold more than 155 volt anyway. For maximum safety, unplug overnight.

I know this is kinda old but you had all the room in the world to install a proper 2.5cm thick 92mm fan instead of the weak noctua.

I used to support tech at a drywall manufacturing facility, and the main ingredient of drywall is, well, dust. This machine would look fairly clean in that environment.

One thing I do with tue cpu fan is unplug it before passing air into it.
As it will generate electricity pushing air through the fan and it could push higher voltage popping something on you board...if you spin that fan on a dead board...you will see it will flow power back into the board.

Was it intentional for the 2 x 3.5” drives to be put back the opposite way round? I noticed the one with the blue label was on top when dismantling but on the bottom when reassembling. Not that it probably matters either way haha

i was worried about using the exhaust on my shop vac to blow out dust.... you used a freaking leaf blower ! lol
