Great video. My tip on this is to only enable the smoothing on visible clothing items when you're ready to render a picture and happy with how everything is posed (so to turn off smoothing while making changes to a character's pose). If smoothing is enabled, especially on several items of clothing, it can sometimes make posing a character very slow. For example if you have several smoothed clothes on a character and then move the character's finger or hand, there may be a lag in the motion. If you turn the smoothing off while making movements, then on again at the end when ready to render, it keeps the posing and moving character parts workflow smooth without lag. The smoothing modifiers are intensive on the CPU while enabled.

The outfit still doenst follow the body, you can still see the shape of the breast in it, but at the wrong place. This clothes are made for a 0 dailed breastsize. The only good way is to put the character in 0 breast size at keyframe 1 and the bigger size at for example keyframe 10. Without adding dforce to the clothes just add a outfit somewhere in the scene away from the character and let the animation run from 1 to 10, then you see the breast size get bigger and the oufit will follow the body. After that you can remkve the extra dforce outfit from the scene thats away from the body and done.

New subscriber to your channel - I’ve been using DAZ for 10 years consistently and I honestly believe your videos are some of the most concise and helpful I’ve come across. Thank you very much!

I've seen this before but was afraid to mess with it as I wasn't sure exactly what it was doing and how it would affect my render (ie. SubD 3 and SubD 4 are a difference of hours in render time) but thanks for taking your time to show and explain this feature to us!

Also, thanks for the twitter follow <3

How much does that change affect render times? I always thought that upping your smoothing iterations to that extreme would really mess with your render times.

There's so many settings i didn't even know this was a thing, thanks!
Can this also be used for, say, leggings or pants if the skin is clipping through??
