Just some quick feedback... you could probably save a bit of money going with the I5 13400 rather than the 13600k
ОтветитьIf not the gigabyte motherboard: Msi z690p a decent choice? (I'm not a gigabyte fan)
ОтветитьHi sir, I really appreciated you updating this BB4B. I was wondering if you can also create an update BB4B for editing monitors.
Thanks!
Any chance we can get you to make a review of the Threadripper 5000 WX PRO series? Would like to know if it's still worth it over the 7000 series regular and X3D.
Ответить@Teck Notice i play mostly games like Wow and Destiny2 and i love to make a video now and then but my 7 year old tower can't handle, i would love to keep it for at least more 3 years but not possible . My question is would a mini PC at 800$ from MinisForum be better in the long run or should i buy another tower at 1400$?
ОтветитьHey bruv. Could I switch out the Gigabyte Z690 for an MSI Z690 Tomahawk? Whats your take on that MB?
ОтветитьI’ve been waiting for this video. Thanks for laying out your recommendations so clearly. Note that since the video came out the 3060 ti price went up to $579 on Amazon.
ОтветитьDoes the K option offer any benefits on an Intel CPU if I am sure I will never overclock?
ОтветитьCan I put 13900 there and leave everything else the same as you suggested?
ОтветитьI have a question . Can use the 280 mm version of arctic liquid freezer ii for this build?
ОтветитьWhich Motherboard, RAM combo is the SWEET SPOT ?……..if the i5-13600k is the SWEET SPOT ?
ОтветитьDoes the MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk WiFi DDR4 have igpu support/quick sync? I like the Aero G but looking for a black theme at a lower price than the ProArt. BTW- thx for vetting these builds, I used your links for most of the other parts and even got the Gigabyte 4070 ti for less than the Zotac version ($820 with Amazon instant coupon).
ОтветитьI like that you kept it DDR4. Us DDR5 users are still just guinea pigs.
ОтветитьNew Subscriber here! Very good detail on what components to choose from. I'm a Content Creator/Editor and would like to know your thoughts about my PC.
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
MOBO: MSI B450 Gaming Max Plus
GPU: MSI GTX 1070
PSU: Thermaltake GF1 650 Gold
RAM: 32GB TeamGroup 3200mhz CL16
SSD: Samsung EVO 860
I'm using Adobe Products like PR and AE in editing. I need a GPU enough for 4k output. Atleast fast enough to render.
Now I'm planning to upgrade my GPU on what you recommended on this video as the 3060Ti since my GTX 1070 is almost retiring and have some minor glitches but still bearable, would the 3060Ti GPU be a good match on to my system? Or is it just to over kill? Or should I just go above like the 3070?
Thanks for making this! If you have open box items and microcenter, you should be able build (AMD 7900x, gigabyte 4080 OC, B650E-F, 32 gb 6000, 1000W PSU, 1TB 980, 4 TB western Mech drive, Fractal Torrent case) for about ~$2250. I wanted see if I got a good value, seems that i did.
ОтветитьGreat information and presentation as usual. This is exactly the price range I'm looking at for a new productivity build, that may also be used for a little light gauge PCVR . Great timing. I've been narrowing down and this is pretty close to where I've been landing, but always love new perspectives.
I wish he'd offered a bit more specifics regarding what we'd experience as benefits from upgrading from a 3060 ti to the 4070 ti. Would it be mostly reduced render times? Or smoothness during editing? Or able to handle 6k - 8k video editing? I'm not likely to ever being working with video above 4k, so it would be helpful to know what specific areas would benefit from the upgrade to determine if it would justify the expense for my relative light video editing.
Please do a video on $1500 (sleeper) build
Or
$1500 build without RGB or fancy aesthetic, just pure performance
I’ve built this exact setup only upgrading to the i7 from i5. Unfortunately I can’t get it to post. I’ve re-seated everything except the cpu, which I guess I need to look at next. But I don’t know what to do if I can’t get a post. Any help would be appreciated.
ОтветитьOpinion on the 13500 paired with a 4070 TI for a 1600 USD budget? Mostly for Blender/ 3D workflow.
ОтветитьWould it be as good as Mac Studio for 8k Raw video processing on DaVinci Resolve? If anyone kindly suggest would be a great help 🙏🏻
ОтветитьExcellent content as always!
Ответитьyo,, and so i buy n built it,, but left out the video card until i felt a bit richer. BUT maybe this is why i can't get even a Bios screen,,, ahhhhhh ...switching it on for the first time using the mother board hdmi output (there's no vga) the CPU and RAM leds go on for a second or two intermittently but thats it,,, the other two leds stay off.... and no BIOS screen... in fact no signal getting through to the monitor even... I've been hunting around to see if this mother board NEEDS a video card, if that's a thing...? (i'm not a PC build virgin but I'm better with paint than puters!) THANKS FOR ANY HELF RESPONSE.... (& your output is smashin!) ...
ОтветитьI need some advice. My buddy is looking to upgrade his system but doesn't want to build a while new system. His budget is around $1800 USD and his current specs are Not yet. At the office today.
Graphics card - Radeon RX 5700 8GB
GPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6C12T
Motherboard - Gigabyte B450 Gaming X
SSD - 1TB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe
RAM - G Skill TridentZ RGB DDR4 3000 MHz (64gb)
Cooler - an AIO but not sure which one
He started using more animation softwares and heavier after effects, so he'd like to just be able to handle more intense 4-5K editing and animation. So it doesn't stall or take forever to render.
Your videos have inspired me to build my first, but I have to say, I'm a but nervous. I'm not technical. I'll likely land somewhere between the BBFB and the Upgrade. For now, I just have two questions ... 1.) Will there be any compatibility issues with the i7 13700k CPU and the Gigabyte Z690 Aero G DDR4? and 2.) If I wanted to add RGB what components of the BBFB will need to be changed?
ОтветитьCan I run multiple design softwares with this Rig ???
ОтветитьI just used the guidlines here to build a pc. I went with the i7 13700K, 128gb ram, a 1tb drive and two 2tb drives, the 3060ti gpu, a Noctua NH-U12A cooler, and a Phantek 500 case. the only issue I ran into was the motherboard which would not work with a 13th gen cpu without a bios reflash. This thing is an absolute beast, I can't beleive how much faster it is than my old pc. It's saving me a substantial amount of time processing raw files from my Canon R5. With 8% sales tax the total was $2400. Thanks
Ответить"insane" very good, I love the chat. regards Tony from Australia
ОтветитьWill not buy anything from CCL. Checked them out on FB. Did not bother to answer me! Then I saw all the complaints about service that sucks, and no backup service at all! It was complaint after complaint. So I would rather stay away from them.
ОтветитьDo i really need to buy such a expensive motherboard on a budget i mean holy crap pricey.
Is there really no cheaper stable options for intel?
I'm thinking of an 7900x build perhaps instead. with "MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WIFI"
it is a stable motherboard what i heard for almost $200 less, would that not work out?
I love your channel. Your content is boss! I am finally about to build my pc so I opened my playlist searching for your 2022 build. I thought, let me search for Tech Notice 2023 build, just in case. Boom! Here it is! Thank you so much!

ОтветитьWhat black motherboard can I use as an alternative? I want an all black build
ОтветитьDoesn't loading 4 sticks of ram cut the speed a lot?
ОтветитьI’m having a real issue getting my hands on the Gigabyte Aero G Z690 DDR4. (Plenty of DDR5 versions about sadly) Can you please recommend the best substitute for around the same price? (especially now that we are into 2023)
TIA
Hi there, would you still recommend this build with the same parts with the current market?
ОтветитьI love your videos and builds but I have one main issue. You are often using the z690 earo g DDR4 motherboard which is next to impossible to get here in Europe. We are only able to get the z790 but that's a ddr5 motherboard. Can you please provide alternatives for Europeans 😴 or is the gaming x version an alternative because we can get that one?
ОтветитьIntel arc any good for video editing?
ОтветитьI love your channel so much man. It helps a lot. However, can you do a new video for this BBFB series after 6 months? The price of those PC parts has been updating a lot since then. Thanks
ОтветитьHey i have been following Tech Notice for a while and now i'm finally building a PC and needed some help. i was wondering if the MSI PRO Z690-A WiFi DDR4 support the Intel 13th gen 13700k? (since the performance of 13700k is better tha the 12900k and is priced better)
ОтветитьJust built a similar build for under $1500

Got most parts on sale. Could have gotten the 13700k for $382 but decided to wait for lower pricing on that or the 13900k. Plan to upgrade CPU/GPU in 1-3 years at better prices
Hey jack can i upgrade cpu to ryzen 5 5600 and the gpu to rx 6750xt in 1500$ budget pc?
Ответитьi don’t think 650W is enough power, but otherwise good video 👍
ОтветитьThank you for the build list with the prices in the video and thanks for the parts list in the notes.
ОтветитьIs there any alternative to the mobo? Here in UE isn't as cheap and also availability is so so...
ОтветитьAll of that and not testing itm wow 😂😂
ОтветитьTHIS should be your number one video! I feel though $1500ish is the sweet spot for a gaming or creator PC!
ОтветитьThanks for the great video! The two most expensive upgrades are the CPU (i5-13600K to i7-13700K) and GPU (3060Ti to 3070Ti). If you had to chose only one of these upgrades, which one would you recommend? I'm editing 1080p 60FPS footage (max. 3 parallel scenes without many effects) and I also want to game (very) non-competitively at 1440p @60FPS. I'm also looking into the 3070 as an option. Thanks a lot for the tips!
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Very helpful.
ОтветитьI want to build this now but it seems like 3060 TI's are really hard to get your hands on here in denmark. Is there a new comparable option instead?
Ответить
