Hey I hope you enjoy this new video (and the new logo!) As always, this video wouldn't exist without Squarespace's support so make sure to check them out!
ОтветитьThere is a Prime Air hub in Rockford Illinois, that i drive by when im in that area for work. I didnt realize they only had a few dozen aircraft. That facility looks huge.
Its a great airport to operate a shipping hub. It close enough to O'Hara to be inside their control as a satellite field, but far enough away that the airspace isn't conjested.
That means Amazon didnt have to spend time getting the local government to build a lot more infrastructure and flight support services.
I had an early morning flight in Memphis and watched the convoy of FedEx planes taking off. It was impressive.
ОтветитьGoogle Express 2hrs
ОтветитьFedEx has hand delivered more cocaine than Pablo Escobar ever dreamed about
ОтветитьIt would make a lot of sense
Ответитьthis is so fascinating. great stuff
ОтветитьOvernight NEVER works. what a scammer company! all our Express parcels arrive late. and contents ruined because of that. super annoying. dated keep changing all the time after it's shipped. support is useless!
ОтветитьGreat info video 🎉
ОтветитьAm I the only one that’s so interested in this?
ОтветитьOkay the world's flat settle down
ОтветитьLooking for my package
ОтветитьSouth Korean thinks logistic is stupid people’s job. Banned shipping to South Korea.
ОтветитьWhat are the chances 2 of the channels i watch on a regular basis wouod have 2 of the songs in this video. I feel like someone is trolling me 😂 i came here for research!
Ответитьif someone is wondering why Fedex shipping is expensive, you can see why...they basically an airlines business.
ОтветитьDHL has the biggest airline in the world. Cool fact you missed out on
ОтветитьYou mention packages going from Anchorage to "American hubs"... my brother in Christ, Anchorage is an American hub. Alaska became an American state in 1959.
ОтветитьBig,huge joke : i heard the planes ad midnight
ОтветитьBut explain how it works?
ОтветитьI was always fascinated how mauling system works out of all the millions of addresses worldwide and how speedy an efficient it has become.
ОтветитьYou pay same price in state or short distance as shipping to Hawaii or Alaska. I had ship Columbus OH to Pittsburgh pa WA same price Las Angeles CA to Pittsburgh pa was same cost. I got to ups store at four pm and they got my paperwork at 9 am next day
ОтветитьI got back from dc Thursday, when landed I saw a Amazon prime plane
Ответитьdude called lousiville and memphis small… i need to get out of the sticks

ОтветитьLouisville is not a small city. Its the largest city in kentucky and home to millions
ОтветитьThis video was a "good find". Thanks
ОтветитьUsps's version of overnight shipping is it sits in the warehouse for 1 week then it's delivered. 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьThanks to this video, I now know how to track my Fedex package being shipped Intl Priority. My laptop once in the US started in Anchorage, then goes to Memphis, then to Denver before ground shipping takes over. I even have the flight numbers.
ОтветитьA moment of silence for pre-COVID logistics and shipping.
ОтветитьWhere's my Pandabuy Haul?
ОтветитьSmaller shipping companies can work for remote islands. For example, Griffing Flying Service offers a combination passenger and cargo run between Port Clinton, Ohio and several small islands in Lake Erie. This airline flies most of the cargo for USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc. to and from the islands, while also bringing passengers along.
ОтветитьNow do one on Santa Clause. He’s been doing this way before these shipping companies.
ОтветитьFedex Singapore is no longer delivers!
ОтветитьNobody speak about Africa while business is running very well there😂
ОтветитьAll 3 are Cocksukers that charge BS Brokerage fees.
ОтветитьI always thought those adds for overnight/next day/same day shipping were bogus because whenever I tried to order something it always said 2 - 3 business days at the fastest. Average shipping time was about 7 - 10 actual days for everything but the USPS which was 2 - 3 business days. Then I moved from Hawai'i to the mainland, and realized because of the wonders of geography, we really were the last stop for air freight in the states. I think only American Samoa had longer air freight times for FedEx/UPS.
ОтветитьAs a resident of Louisville hearing you call us a “small city” hurt me but in comparison it makes perfect sense 😂
ОтветитьWorked for FedEx one summer as a package handler from 3 am to 8 am it was really neat to see how those operations work
ОтветитьPriority express mail for me never makes it overnight even though it says guarantied. For example Cali to NY takes 2 days. Even just priority mail from Florida to ny takes 4 DAYS! Either USPS has had a complete downgrade or they’re not flying as often to in order to keep up. Considering it’s basically all machines doing the work and all the humans do is bring it from cart to cart to the next machine or truck makes me believe they don’t have the amount of workers that they should have. And considersing the amount of taxes that the government makes off of each household they should be able to get people to work rather then pocketing that money for complete bullshit that it’s actually being spent on.
ОтветитьMe waiting a month for a package from Germany to the UK.
ОтветитьI’m waiting non a check to get my new truck. Had to see how this works 😂
ОтветитьNo, 😂😂😂just popped up on my feed.
ОтветитьMe watching this because I’m trying to figure out how they’re going to get my package all the way from Vancouver to Chicago
Ответитьsmh all the comments are from DHL and FedEx workers 🙄
ОтветитьOne suggestion: replace city size with MSA size, since MSA is more reflective of a region's population. Example: the City of Tucson, AZ, 542,000, is larger than the City of Atlanta, 496,000, both of which are more than 100,000 smaller than Memphis' referenced city population of 650,000. But the MSA of Atlanta is far greater than the MSA of Tucson, or the MSA of Memphis. So using the city size of Memphis ignores roughly 650,000, or roughly half of residents comprising the 1.3 million person metro area, and comprising some of the work force of the Super Hub, workers in Desoto County, or Millington, or other cities of the metro.
