He is being deceptive because Catholics did not even always agree with other Catholics on which books belonged.
ОтветитьIt actually is in the Bible. If Catholics would read the Bible, he would know that.
ОтветитьWhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus is catholic...protestant or orthodox? Jesus is neither of those....Jesus is god let's get it right
ОтветитьIm a catholic n my wife is a Protestant and she say catholic and Protestant are same we worship same god,,and i said to my wife if catholic and Protestant are same then came to catholic and now she became catholic with me
ОтветитьYour own definition for protestant but your a catholic 😂😂😂
Come on father😅
Bro just Apostolic Fathers????
Bible alone + APOSTOLIC FATHERS
Thank you do not interrupt protestants again.
Matthew 5:43–44
"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"
Because those books that are excluded by Protestants do not hold up as reliable or as historically sound.
ОтветитьThe historical events behind this and why the bibles are not the same. Because so far everyone talks about books being left out yet no one can inform anyone why and at what times and so on.
ОтветитьWe say the bible is our only Infallible source of revelation and our highest. Most of us still say the church is an authority just not an infallible authority. Not that it will always be wrong but that it can be wrong even though it's mostly right
ОтветитьSuch a terrible argument 🤦🤦🤦🤦
ОтветитьNot prosistant but all of the books in the bible go with each other without conflictions thats how we know what books to use and not to use
ОтветитьCatholic go along with tradition together with the sacred book Bible whereas Protestants only with Bible
ОтветитьThis false Priat is a charlatan!!!! God reveals His word to us!!! He enables me to know that 66 books make up the cannon- only 66 books
ОтветитьMy Bible has a table of contents.
ОтветитьPardon, we never rejected any of the Holy scriptures. And he is stating it that all Protestants believe this. I am Calvinist and I know for sure that my Bible has all the original books in it.
Ответить“How do Protestants know which books are in the Bible?” What is this guy saying? Common sense. If you actually read your Bible, which you should, you would know.
ОтветитьThe INSANE thing about this schism is that Protestanism was totally used as a political tool. Had Henry VIII remained Catholic the entire planet would be different. Likewise, Luther never meant for a separation, just the end of certain practices. To be frank, given that there are over 30,000 denominations or Protestanism (ie offshoots) I would stick with the Catholic Church or the Orthodox Church.
ОтветитьI left Protestantism 30 years ago. Looking back i realized how much I was lied to
ОтветитьDo be fooled by this man in the strange white outfit!
ОтветитьBoth groups are divisive!
Catholoism-the demonic organization with its harlots of protestantism)
As far as I understand, Martin Luther wasnt able to find the Hebrew sources of seven books in the Old Testament. So he (and the Protestants) took them out of the Bible. Later though, the Hebrew originals were found, but they kept these books out.
ОтветитьThe first collection of books of the new testament had only 27 books...
ОтветитьThe Catholic Church remains more united compared to Protestant churches for several key reasons related to authority, tradition, and organizational structure:
1. *Centralized Authority*
- The Catholic Church has a clear, hierarchical structure with the *Pope* as the supreme leader. The Pope, as the Bishop of Rome, is considered the spiritual successor to St. Peter and holds the highest authority in matters of doctrine and church governance.
- This centralized authority allows for more uniformity in teachings and practices, as final decisions on theological disputes or church governance come from the Vatican.
2. *Apostolic Tradition*
- Catholicism emphasizes the importance of both *Scripture* and **Sacred Tradition**. The belief in Apostolic Succession, where bishops and priests are seen as successors to the apostles, contributes to continuity and consistency in teachings and practices throughout history.
- This reliance on long-standing tradition has helped maintain unity, as doctrines and interpretations are not subject to personal interpretation or local decisions, unlike the Protestant principle of "sola scriptura."
3. *Doctrinal Authority: Magisterium*
- The *Magisterium* is the teaching authority of the Catholic Church, made up of the Pope and bishops. They interpret and clarify doctrines, and their decisions are binding for all Catholics. This means that debates or differences in opinion can be resolved at the highest levels of the Church, keeping the community united.
- In contrast, Protestants generally lack a central interpretive authority, which leads to varying interpretations of scripture and often results in the formation of new denominations.
4. *Sacramental Unity*
- The Catholic Church teaches that salvation is closely tied to participation in the sacraments (e.g., Eucharist, Baptism, Confession) and that these sacraments can only be administered by ordained clergy. This sacramental framework helps bind Catholics together in shared worship and belief.
- Protestant denominations often differ on how they view and practice sacraments, contributing to fragmentation.
5. *Historical Continuity*
- The Catholic Church claims an unbroken continuity back to the early Christian Church, with a consistent line of leadership and tradition. This continuity provides a sense of stability and unity that Protestant churches, which often originated as reform movements, do not have.
- Protestantism, by nature, arose out of a break with the Catholic Church, and its emphasis on reform and individual interpretation has led to a greater tendency toward division.
### 6. *Universal Catechism*
- The Catholic Church has a **universal catechism**, which is a summary of its teachings. This ensures that Catholics around the world receive consistent instruction on matters of faith and morals. Protestant denominations often have different confessions or creeds, contributing to diversity in belief.
### 7. *Resistance to Change*
- The Catholic Church has historically been slower to adapt to cultural or theological trends compared to Protestant groups. While this has sometimes been a source of criticism, it has also contributed to greater unity, as major changes in doctrine or practice are rare and carefully considered.
### 8. *Role of Ecumenical Councils*
- Ecumenical councils, such as the Council of Trent or the Second Vatican Council, have played a key role in unifying Catholic teaching and practice in response to challenges or changes in the world. These councils provide a way to address issues while maintaining the unity of the Church.
In contrast, Protestantism, with its emphasis on individual interpretation and the absence of a single governing authority, naturally lends itself to fragmentation as different groups form around differing theological perspectives. The Catholic Church's centralized authority and strong adherence to tradition have been key factors in maintaining its unity over the centuries.
Catholic Church is APOSTHOLIC and we have THE EUCHARIST sorry that is the Truth
ОтветитьErrant Catholics pray to statues ; chant the rosary (wh is the announcement by Angel Gabriel to Mary that she was with child ) They pray to dead people like Mary, Paul , Anne etc
Read the canonised Bible and repent of your sins
Many priests are closet homosexuals but 1 Timothy 4 says not to forbid marrying
Try suppressing sexual urges
No they are happy to have gay sex which God described as an abomination! The pope needs to repent
Protestants need to come home to the one and only Catholic Church
ОтветитьSola scriptura does not teach that the bible is the only source of Divine revelation, instead it teaches that the bible is the only infallible source but there are other sources like tradition but this is not infallible and it must be supported by scripture
ОтветитьI slightly agree.
ОтветитьI liKe the way 😅😅😅😅 PRO-TESTANT making some kind of exorcism and using holy water 💦😂😂😂😂 that tradition is LITERALLY come from CATHOLIC CHURCH 😜
ОтветитьJesus is an activist, and they are not god, they’re advance being, jesus even said as above so below, we are all the same and there’s no god, they are only far advance than us. Jesus said a parent will not feed stones to his kids that is starving because yahweh did that to his people. Jesus tried to teach his apostles which is pure human to walk in the sea water, jesus was teaching us knowledge and enlightenment. And in quran jesus never claim he is God. Stop the manipulation! Religion is only causing competition that causing fights and war! You are all scammers! syndicate! There’s no god! Grow up!
ОтветитьProtestants do accept other forms of authority!! The bible is the only INFALLIBLE authority though since humans are full of error. We get our biblical canon from both internal and external interpretation because we trust the Bible and church authority
ОтветитьBut why do even the Jews reject deuterocanonical books?😢😖😣😔🥺
ОтветитьI was a Protestant until I discovered I was practising fake Christianity.
Christianity is Catholicism ... and has been from the very beginning.
If your church is not Catholic (or at least an Eastern Orthodox), you're in a fake church.
Jesus gave the "keys of the kingdom of heaven" to Peter (Matt 16:19), not to a book.
So early Christians always believed the Apocryphal books were canon? I wonder what the early church fathers have said about that. Why didn’t the Jews accept the Apocryphal books? Research has been done to explain why the Bible (that most people use) does not include the Apocryphal books.
ОтветитьActually Jesus tells you which books belong in the bible
Ответитьprotestants worship the bible
ОтветитьThe early church and what we have today are two entirely different animals.
ОтветитьI found it odd that Jews didn’t even use the books that Catholics use in the OT
ОтветитьOne thing to keep in mind: Catholics LABELED us “Protestants”. Well, my faith in God as a Baptist is based on my love for Him - NOT as a rebellion towards you. I was never a Catholic so I never broke away. What essentially happened is Catholics labeled every Christian sect who is NOT them with one term. (Kind of like the Jew / Goyim thing). The problem is though one argument may be true against one group, it may or may not be true against all. Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, and Presbyterians all fall under your label, but are very different from one another. As a denomination Baptists hold to the inerrancy and infallibility of Scripture whereas Methodists don’t. Baptists are pro-life whereas most Methodists aren’t Methodists ordain women and gay ministers, we don’t. (However I am disappointed the SBC would not officially say that). Presbyterian Calvinists believe in predestination whereas we believe in free will. Many Catholic videos claiming to argue with Protestants may receive pushback because it simply isn’t true for our belief system yet we are lumped in there. What I really wish would happen is if we could discuss IDEAS instead of the whole “Protestant / Catholic) thing. Our search should not focus on who is right and who is wrong but rather what is true and what is false. We ALL need to stop personal attacks and discuss IDEAS. (And that goes for Baptists and all Protestants as well - not just you). Let us stop saying “hooray for our side” and instead say “we are on the Lord’s side - what is TRUE?” Let God be true and every man a liar…
ОтветитьNo, the early Christians did not ALWAYS believe the apocrypha part of the canon. For example, Cyril of Jerusalem and Jerome didn’t. Don’t lie.
ОтветитьI appreciate the dedication of Catholics in running educational institutions, orphanages, Old Age Homes, Hospitals, Feeding centres for the poor, other social services and the hierarchy of their church and organisations.
However, I find that in matters of faith they give more importance to traditional prayers and rituals and less on Bible reading and study.
Tradition is the "Word of Man" and
Bible is "The WORD of GOD"
There's a big difference between the two ❗
They use the intercession of Mary and the saints and praying the Rosary a repetitive prayer which are not Biblical.
1 Timothy 2:5. There is one God, and one intercessor between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Romans 10:17. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
It's when you prayerfully read and study the Bible that you develop faith in the God of the Bible. 👍
Hebrews 11:6. Without faith it is impossible to please God: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
They also pray in front of statues, pictures and crosses/crucifixes when the Bible forbids the making of idols and bowing down before them.
Exodus 20:4. You are not to make an image or picture of anything in heaven or on the earth or in the waters under the earth and bow down to them.
John 4:24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
It is the Bible based faith that brings down the power of God to work miracles, signs and wonders❗
Lack of knowledge of the Bible makes you an easy target to Muslim preachers, Jehovah's Witnesses and other cultic faiths which are not according to the teaching of Jesus Christ. It's not a wonder that many such Catholics has lost their faith and many Catholic Churches in Europe and elsewhere and dwindling in numbers and members. 😪
Protestants reject the books he’s referring to because they’re not found in the Masoretic text. Catholics accept them because they’re found in the Septuagint. This is fundamentally a textual dispute, more than anything regarding tradition.
ОтветитьHeavenly God has never proven himself to me. Is what I thought. I turned 16 and realised that I had to prove myself to him. Reading a bible made by us does not feel right. We speak with our actions, not with our words. I live for the things that feel good, knowing that God has got my back and will remind me to choose another way. Follow your gut, not the books.❤❤ Amen.
ОтветитьYou may find that.
In English prophecy is to see the future and tell many people.
Prophet is too dictate the future as an individual.
The second one is a secular factual act of will. Predominantly any person can do it.
You can learn that in English this is what Protestantism differentiates from the catholic faith.
Or you can ignore this.
Jesus Christ certainly could have done and did do it.
But this is why it is signifignant. It is an inextricable identity of power and mind over things which is no longer perceptible because it is overwhelming.
It is a state of mind which is both alive and it is fixed on a thing to be done. It’s is not an adapting or a guessing or a gambit. So somehow the mind is changing for lack of a better word which is used also in the Bible and it is unmoving on something so much greater than a goal that it cannot possibly be perceived by individuals.
The two words prophet and prophecy.
The English language.
That’s what really happened.
In Ireland.
Take it or leave it.
I am a Protestant & I strongly pray & believe that Catholics & Protestants will one day unite in their love for Christ
ОтветитьTradition is fine. Its when tradition contradicts scripture. Or when tradition teaches things in which the mere idea is found nowhere within scripture.
ОтветитьI guess it depends on what Sola Scriptura means to you. The Holy Spirit can give deeper revelation about the Lord but it will never disagree with scripture. Like purgatory, baby baptisms and other “revelations” the Catholic priests have received. Peter was married and a true apostle chosen by the Lord but he wouldn’t be considered acceptable as a priest today because he was married. Let that sink in. Let me guess. The Holy Spirit has changed His mind today?
ОтветитьWe don’t disagree with protestants it’s the other way around thank you very much … see we don’t think or are obsessed with protestants we don’t really care … but we get bash all time by them … and it’s it’s funny they say you guys believe what we believe in most part and my answer is nahhhhh !! We got nothing in common it’s like mixing water and oil … we are the true church we gave the bible to Christianity and by the way we Catholics are the true Christians not the other way around St. Peter ‘s body tomb is underneath the basilica !!! …. St. Peter relocated to Rome and that’s why the basilica is there from the start … but apart from that we celebrate the holy sacrifice of Jesus he is present Body blood soul and divinity in a tiny small host …why !! Because he want it that way and because he is God he can do what he pleases and we say what he commands us to do we must be like our Mother Mary be his slaves as the slave got no free will we must do his holy will as he know better
Ответить
