What is better attic MX6 cooler master gel pro V2 or Noctua

What was your CPU cooler?

I just tried Arctic 5 vs Kryonaut on my older Intel 7700hq and experienced a 6 degree difference in favour of Kryonaut while gaming. Under business pc productivity use there’s a 10 degree difference in favour of Kryonaut although it is irrelevant when fps is not a concern.

Add KPX to the list and see how it performs.

What about those thick and non-oily pastes that has quite a difficult application like Thermalright TFX, Coolermaster MasterGel Maker, etc?
Would you recommend them for direct die cooling like on dedicated GPUs and laptop CPU+GPU? Are they more resistant to pump-outs like it is on those regular thin and oily pastes?

The stress test you used couldnt have been heavy enough if the temps were confined to 70-72C with a 12900K despite using an air cooler. I think you botched it. A re-test is in order, using cinebench and comparing your score with other known 12900K scores to make sure that there isnt something off with your CPU settings.

Arctic Silver is a different company than MX-4/MX-6 makers, FYI, it's just Arctic Silver, no MX.

I use PTM7950SP for my laptop. Cpu & gpu tem are the same for 2 years without repasting.

Ive tested kryonaut and let me warn you not only is it sticky as fuk u kind of have to heat it up before being able to properly paste it. After couple of months it becomes like dust. Now im on artic mx-6 and happy

Arctic silver 5?

SYY 157 is the only one saying that you do not have to change for 5 years. So I went with the SYY, low temp and longevity, since I have a CPU/VRM waterblock on MB that screws in from the back of the MB.

What about Thermalright TF7-TF8-TF9 and TFX, they are good too, but i cant nothing compartation for TF9..

Can you run a test more regarding longevity? Kryonaut starts to have a lot of issues if you get around 80c, and considering how hot 13th gen cpus get, it'd be interesting to see how the different pastes hold up over time.

Why did'nt you use the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme instead, the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is the worse version.

I’m using the deep cool thermal paste that was included moth my DeepCool AK620 air cooler on a 5800x3d. Just installed it over this weekend. Burn in test it hit 70c. Now under load 53c idle 26c. 5800x3d set at stock voltages.

It's really a shame that you decided to have multiples of Arctic, Noctua and Akasa. Honestly, I could accept TWO but FOUR for Arctic was not helpful except for those still wondering if the "old stuff" was better. Useful, but maybe next time don't duplicate unless you're comparing just one brand's products.

Also, typo in your title: "HT-H2" should be "NT-H2".

did you let the arctic silver cure? i read that it needs time to cure before it can achieve maximum performance

hey there, just heard about thermal pastes. i ve got a doubt here. does applying thermal paste increase the lifespan of my laptop? since the life of a laptop mainly depends on the health of the CPU

I've heard very good things about Thermalright's TFX. It's a shame you couldn't included it as well. I bought it from Amazon here in the US and I also have whatever Noctua included with the NH-U9S I purchased for my build. I'm undecided about which one of them I'm actually going to use. 🤔
