Finally... no more AK-74Ms.

The two fire burst has been removed from the AK-12 from what I heard. Many other improvements were done, because many Russian soldiers complained about it. The AK-74M is still mostly used through.

So how many war crimes can we commit when playing them ?

I think it’s funny how us in squad are receiving the AK-12 before the vast majority of the actual Russian fucking army

Recent updates just declare the turn towards causality with the firearms - fancy weapon models, lots of optics etc. I swear to fucking god every branch of the whole RF army still utilizes ak74 and anything "tacticool" is just never made it to the frontlines.
I really wouldn't like something like Middle East Escalation which packed with all these gears and attachments SOF style.

AK12 is more a side grade than a upgrade. It dosent really add much to the plat form and removes some benefits like easier take down for field cleaning. I own a airsoft version and changeing batteries is a pain compaired to my AK74m. With both having it under the dust cover. While the ak12 only benefit being more rail space, which could have been done cheaper and easier in a upgrade package like the Polish Beryl rifle. And Russia does have companies making parts kits for AK74 upgrades for Gru and other forces, so yeah the AK12 is the red headed step child of the ak family.

Maybe in 50 years after the events of Bucha can be better grasped, people can start adding russians again, but currently? boo me but id rather see other countrys than russia in this game. what they do in ukraine is awful and adding more factions of them into the game is just not cool. they are also way worse than they are portrait in this game. i would rather see a ukrain faction with west guns, or an entire new country like germany or sweden, or something unusual like israel or something. but please no more fckng russians.

I cant help but think that the VDV were a poor choice for a naval infantry themed release like this one. surely it would have been better to introduce the PLAMC alongside the Russian Naval Infantry

I can see why they were chosen as the VDV have a unique range of air mobile vehicles to bring fresh content to the game where as comparably the Russian Naval Infantry would be little more than a reskin of existing assets with the exceptions really of the MBT as they could have T-80BVs instead

admittedly I think if they were adamant about being in a dual REDFOR release for the VDV it would have been better to pair them with another Airborne force/unit like the PLAAF

They should improve the sight pictures. The actual sights are a little strange for a IRL gun user.
1. The rear sights have to be slightly "transparent", because you will usual shoot with both eyes open.
2. The proportions between the rear and the front sights are not realistic as well.
