I took the train there once and enjoyed my stay at the Depot Inn & suites, and all the town had to offer. If you've never been there, it's definitely a place to visit. Great video!
ОтветитьThanks for taking the time to show the hundreds of camera viewers what the station is actually like. Don't think I'll ever get to visit it from here in Australia! Those freights look awesome passing at ground level.
ОтветитьThank you for this very enjoyable video.
ОтветитьI wondered what it looked like inside the station, but I thought since people are there waiting on a train, I thought maybe there's be like a little coffee ☕ shop, where they serve coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate for those who might want something warm to drink on cold days and nights while waiting on their next train.. Makes sense. But other than that it is a very nice looking station. 👍😃
ОтветитьGood job! Thank u for share! Grettings from Brazil!
ОтветитьA time warp to simpler times.
ОтветитьThank you for showing us the interior of the station. Greetings from Paraguay
ОтветитьThanks - have often wondered myself what the station looked like inside...
ОтветитьJeez 12k
ОтветитьVery art deco, whoever he was.
ОтветитьInteresting to see inside, buf fast panning made much of it unwatchable to me, a gimble would also be a good idea, oh & please dump the music.
ОтветитьNice station. Greetings from Indonesia.
ОтветитьThanks for the interior shots. But it would have been nice if you went out the door, that goes out to the tracks. And a few more things. Maybe on your next trip.
ОтветитьGreat video (as always!) Nice to see the inside of LaPlata Sta. Thanks!
ОтветитьI have been watching the virtual La Plata site for about 10 months and always wondered what the station looked like inside! It is very nice and looks retro like in the golden age of rail travel. I thought I saw a quick view of Amy Cox sitting in the station? Was that her? I lived in Delaware County, PA, suburbs of Philadelphia from 1960 through 1995 and lived about 1 1/2 miles from the North East Corridor so I would occasionally drove over and watch the numerous Amtrak trains north and south bound doing around 100 mph. More recently watching the Acela trains whizzing by as well as the stupid high school boys and girls crossing the tracks instead of the underpasses! the outer 2 tracks where for the local SEPTA commuter trains in and out of Philly! Since 1995 I live about a 1/4 mile from the Amtrak train that runs from Harrisburg, PA to Philly.
ОтветитьFar out
ОтветитьROugh camera handling, could have been so much smoother.
ОтветитьNo cameo for Todd Samm?
ОтветитьWhere's the train model?
ОтветитьDid I see it right ?? One train to the West and one train to the East ??
This is typical USA - level of a a Third Country !!
Very cool indeed
Ответитьsmall station, really nothing to it.
ОтветитьAre you planning a combined station/platform vid? I'd like to see a vid that shows the station as a whole facility, and how the passengers enter and exit the station.
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьWell thanks very much. Had previously done a google earth on the town. Now all I need to do is get there ? Thanks again.
ОтветитьChange the godawful music please.
ОтветитьStations are always cozy places. Lots of old pictures on the walls too.
ОтветитьQuaint.
I wonder if there’s any value in Amtrak timetables of the early 1970s when it first started.
If Y’all Don’t Like The Music Then Don’t Watch The Video You Don’t Have To Keep On Saying Something, I was 11 When I made this I’m 14 now. I’d Also Just Gotten The Camera The 25th If December This Was The 28th Of 2018
ОтветитьI enjoyed the video, but your camera work was a little too jerky and you shifted scenes a little too quick. None the less, a great video. I'm just curious. Looking at Google Earth, LA Plata is a small town and the surrounding area is spread. Why does Amtrak stop there and why are there so many passengers, and where do they go? I would like to have seen more of the surrounding area around the station, but like I said, I love the video.
ОтветитьObrigado por mostrar!!! vejo todos os dias essa estação através da câmera online partir daqui do Brasil.... gostei muito de conhecer por dentro da estação!!!
ОтветитьTnx for the vid mate👍🏻 I was wondering how it looks from inside.
Greets from the Netherlands👊🏻
Your panning way too fast around the room.
ОтветитьYou did a good job. I liked the old pictures and finally got to see the railroad club. Nice to see the inside of the station too. :-)
ОтветитьHey....what’s with the music huh, whattup with the crappy music.
ОтветитьExcellent Enterprising Endeavour 🌹
ОтветитьWhy is it railfans always buy cheap cameras without wide angle lenses and no optical stabilization? I survived 30 seconds of your horrible production. You are an embarrassment to railfanning.
Buy a gyro stabilized hand mount an a Hero Black 4K camera with wide angle lens included. They are inexpensive and you will get positive comments about you productions.
Leave the music choice to someone that knows the difference between background music and commercial tripe downloaded for free.
Thanks for this video and greetings from Germany
ОтветитьI might be in a minority of one but I liked that second music track! If anyone knows what it is let me know, please. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreetings from. England, v interesting do you know when the station was actually built, style is intriguing. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you.
Ответитьearlier i was gonna search for this because i was curious but i forgot and now i got this in my recommended.. wait what-
ОтветитьOMG, leather seats! This would be unconceivable in Hungary (Europe) today. Our gypsies would cut them into pieces in 2 days. :(
ОтветитьLove that music in this video
ОтветитьGreat Video, place looks like a throwback in time, and I would keep it that way, not much around that looks like that anymore.
ОтветитьOk
ОтветитьWhat was the intro song? I forgot
ОтветитьThanks for uploading that. Now I know what it's like inside the famous La Plata station.
