What's really strange is that Yujiro went full sucker punch on the guy, turned his back when he's normally the type that wants you to see that he bested you with pure strength and no tricks, since he views martial arts and tactics as weak. Looks like in some way he really does care about Baki, this is out of character for him normally. That's what great about Baki, these little ambiguities, each character may seem simple but there's depth that gets uncovered as the story moves on. Shit he even gave Yanagi a fucking CHANCE to avoid this shit too.
