I can confirm this build is just unfair. I just trivialised the game. I got the gear for it, (that I didn’t already have) grabbed a few of the spells and beat maliketh, Gideon, Godfrey and rada/beast all in one go. It’s ridiculous. I did it at ng+3 and roughly level 243

I beat elden ring with my own build it was a strength/dexterity so I wanted to try something new a this was great

Honestly I respec as a mage and I have literally never felt so weak in my entire time playing the game holy fucking shit I keep getting interrupted, staggered, thrown around like a fucking Ragdoll. Died literally every single time I fought any boss or any big mob. You have to hyper invest to hell and back just for the mage to be this good.

bruh for new players how are they supposed to follow this model I cant even get a intellect build past lvl40 HAHAHAHA this guys talking im lvl 200plus HAHAHA at that point if your not hitting good your really doing something wrong ... but for regular people who do not have the time to putt in 200 lvls or have friends to help this is kinda pointless

I’m just starting journey 2 and I’ve always been melee character, I want to give mage a go but don’t know where to start, like how to I distribute my flasks?
What spells should I use as there are sooo many to consider

good things is for anyone wondering is you can unlock the azur and lusat glintstone staffs Ong with their respective ar. or all before, at or, in raya lucaria academy... which is pretty early on in the game to look that damn good... the armors you get by siding with sorceress sellen and the end of her quest line of which you can then go back to both of the masters and claim their armors..

20 hrs in I started over to make a pure mage more meticulously now that I understood things. Didn't know you could respec. Rip lmfao

The farming is so tedious, time consuming, redundant game I've ever encountered. Nearly 100hrs of just farming for me to get to level 137 and the life absorbing rune collecting continues because it's needed. Every boss feels like an end game battle that only gets worse.

Does dexterity really matter that much in spell-casting time? From what I could gather from online research, dexterity only starts to kick in when you have very high levels of it; like 40 or something.

At the time of making this, did you know of Radagon's Icon? Why use Ritual Sword over that?

I am lvl 713... lol so id be beyond immortal.

How do i get so much memory slots

I build towards int and mind by far over all else after vigors up to 25....then by Level 130 i end up at 50 vigor, 50 mind, 60int, 25 endurance. Then Meteroite staff and "comet" found in Raya for general use and some tracking, and rocksling for stunning. Then for bosses or tanky guys i do Azurs Comet/infinite FP Tear/Terra Magicka to do insane boss damage.

If someone wants even more damage you can cycle between Azurs staff and Lusats staff, with the other one boosting spell damage

early game just use radagon icon with azure staff because the icon is 30 dex so you can get max cast speed early

Good video, but honestly the casting increase you gain from dexterity is so minor that I wouldn't bother boosting dex very much, if at all.

Could you change the comet to the night comet or what ever it is called

Why do you balance the stats so much? At lvl 50 I have a 48 int currently and I have a hard time imagine playing with a 25 int just seems counterintuitive
