I've noticed that it counts also if you refresh the page. It would be better that the plugin remembers the user for a spesified time period so it wouldn't count when refreshing the page. I'm making a website for a client that has posts behind a paywall. This plugin counts every time you open the post even though you dont't pay to see the content so I have to figure out something else.
ОтветитьI love you!
ОтветитьHey Mark! Very Helpful tips 🤩
ОтветитьHow to filter only display most view within 1 week or 1 month
Ответитьthank you for this tutorial helped a lot
ОтветитьHey, I've installed this and after visiting site posts few times views are still at 0, no matter if I change count views to everyone, exclude bots or use AJAX. Also, I have added PHP lines into single.php as there was said on the plugins site but it doesn't work either
ОтветитьThanks! This was fantastic.
ОтветитьHello,
The plugin seems to have a problem with me: it sorts the posts by the first number of views and not by the number of views.
For example, I have several posts that have between 1000 and 5000 views but it displays, in that order, first articles with 98, 961 and 96 views.
How can I correct this problem?
Thanks a lot for your tutorial!
How to enable "Advanced Query Options" because in elemntor not showing. thanks..
ОтветитьHi, do you know if it's possible to make the posts to sort by most popular within a certain dates?
ОтветитьDoes it work with custom postst? Like easy digital downloads.
ОтветитьThank you for the video. wp-postviews is on WPEngine's Disallowed Plugins list. Do you know of an alternative plugin that could do the same thing?
ОтветитьThanks for the super useful video!! Though I followed your instruction, it doesn't show my popular posts in the correct order. The two plugins are not enough?
ОтветитьHi WP-PostViews is not updated from long-time - may you know some "spare plugin" with same funztionality if things getting wrong in the future ?
ОтветитьQuite a few comments here but I couldn't see if someone had asked - can you do it with pages as well? Looks like its should work the same way.
ОтветитьThanks a lot brother...This helped me a lot.. Everyone out there made this too complicated...
ОтветитьThank you for the useful video. I tried to go through all the steps from the tutorial and it does display all the posts ordered by views in the backend. However, it goes blank on the frontend. Do you have any idea how/what may cause this?
ОтветитьÚnico plugin que funcionou! Muito obrigada! Parabéns 😀
ОтветитьHow can I do to display only popular posts of the week only?
ОтветитьOBRIGADO! Ajudou bastante!
ОтветитьI don't know why, but when I configure my page like you explain, my filters doesn't work. When I'm in edit mode the filters work ok, but when I publish my page they are ignored. (sorry if I wrote something wrong, my English is not very good)
ОтветитьHi, we have the problem that if a post is hitting 10 views, its counting as "1" again. So only the first digit is used for the ranking. Did you also have the problem? In your video the post with 68 views maybe is just first because of the "6". Thank you very much!
ОтветитьThanks for the great video. Is it possible to sort by 'most liked' as opposed to 'most viewed'? I'm trying to put together business directory site, I'd lyk to have a carousel showing most popular businesses in a user's location/city based on likes/favourites received. Can you recommend a plugin?
ОтветитьHello. I watched the video and followed it and applied it, but the article does not appear according to the number of views. Do you know why?
ОтветитьVery useful many thanks !
ОтветитьThx. This was really helpful. Made it work in just a few min. ❤❤❤
ОтветитьHi , there is a problem with the given module, I installed it, it works with problems, if I have a post with 30 views and a post with 4 views well the first one shows the one with 4 views, probably only compares the first digit, don't take reckoning the rest of the numbers.
ОтветитьThanks. But the View plugin no longer works with elementor
ОтветитьS.O.S! The plugin reset all my post view history to zero.
My website has more than 800 posts.
very nice but the WP PostsViews plugin is very old and have not be updated for a year , is that okay ? and do you any alternetives ? thanks you
ОтветитьThanks Great!
Ответитьthanks for this video, after 4 hours of searching I finally found a video that solves my problem. thanks
ОтветитьMark, great video. This would be great...except that I want my blog posts to display sequentially, but have a widget for the sidebar to display, say, the most popular posts. Is there a way to do that with Elementor. I've seen some plugins, Wordpress Popular Posts, for example, but I can't seem to make that work and the maker admits to not knowing Elementor. Anyway, that's my problem. Is there a solution? I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to do this.
ОтветитьFantastic video! Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks!! Is it possible to make weekly\Monthly view?
ОтветитьReally good WP video!
ОтветитьThanks for the valuable tutorial Wicky. What if I want to make the most popular posts "in the last 24 hours"? or a specific time period instead of all time?
