...it still doesnt do much bc wouldn't the poison still DECREASE just as fast? And once your poisoned the poison bar would also be bigger wouldnt it?

Ive been leveling resistance to 50-70 because I thought it was only physical defense

i usually go for at least 15 or if i'm higher level i go for 30. just trynna get the moust out of my souls by making use of the stat caps

The way I see it you can't choose to not fight Sif because she won't let you. She has seen what the Abyss did to Artorias, and she won't give up the ring and let it happen to you as well. She's trying to protect you

Resistance is broken once you level it enough

obviously possible if level 1 runs can be done without armor or weapons, what i want to see is someone do a level 1 run on ng+ 9 with no armor or weapons beating every boss including dlc

I leveled resistance on my first character because I thought that it just increased all of my resistances and that sounded like it could potentially be better than just increasing my health. I was wrong.

Resistance really should have given extra defense. Maybe high resistance would mean not needing armor, but that would be asking too much.
