My AV blocked a threat named "RealProtect.SuspectBackupDelete!e4312ad49ebb" while .Net was installing. I turned Memory Integrity off but the install has not resumed nor has the disk clean up began.

My file shows as Tron.bat, not Tron. I cannot run Tron.bat, I get an insufficient privileges warning. I checked the permissions for the file, and it shows I have full control, although I do not have special permissions, is that necessary? If so how do I change the value, it is grayed out and inaccessible.

Will this work for keyboard issues? I'm having keyboard issues now before logging in Windows where it stays cap locked, or some of the keys don't work. Changing USB ports won't help, and using another keyboard won't help. Wondering if malware is causing that issue

I don't know if it did any good to my laptop. I didn't get the green screen at the end it just exited but it when through all the stages. Rip my browsing history, should have read more carefully.

On a side note, one of the extra programs included helped me find a scheduled task for a miner that would just kill itself once I open task manager.

Hi Nico, I just found your channel after watching a video by Ask Your Computer Guy, and I`m currently going through your back catalogue and watching past interesting stuff. I like to keep on top of all things to do with security, so I've got Windows Defender enabled on my Desktop, Dell laptop, and a fairly new Dell laptop that I only use for photo processing with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I have the free versions of Avast Security and Malwarebytes on all 3 machines. I run all of these regularly. On top of this I run Norton Power Eraser and Microsoft Safety Scanner on all my machines weekly. I also back up all my data weekly as well. Do you think Im reasonably safe, or should I get the paid version of Avast or get the paid version of ESET? Thanks if you get time to answer me.

Hiya Nico! I use ESET internet security and it recently detected a drive by Trojan and apparently stopped it. I ran tron just to be sure and mbam came back with a few PUM’s. Was this missed by ESET or is that something I can ignore? Thanks! Your channel rocks and I couldn’t recommend you enough

Hey can you help. Everytime I run Tron I get a rootkit scanner failed. what should I do?

I've went through and i'm in my opinion ''stuck'' on Sophros Virus Removal Tool. It's been last updated an hour an 20 minutes ago according to it, stuck on stage 3 disinfectant as it shows on the very top, only scanning or something 800 data files. It does say it is slow be patient...but an hour and 30 minutes now? I'll update if it gets better somehow, but idk seems a bit lengthy to me. Can i just restart the whole thing and it will blast through the stages it didn't get to?

I have a question about ShellExperienceHost.exe
Is it supposed to be running all the time for me sometimes it is on in processes other times it is in details and says it has been suspended and sometimes it is not even in processes or in the details tab
Also I have StartMenuExperienceHost.exe are the two different from each other
computer seems to be working the same when shellexperiencehost.exe is on or off or not there I am just so confused once I noticed this going on

How long actually? I have the feeling it's stuck after rebooting.

I did everything stated in the 'readme' still it randomly rebooted in the first 15 mins of running. Before the reboot it already was stuck on this same line. Did it got broken or am I just being a impatient fuck?

So i tried to download NFSMW cause it opened cmd and closed quick and i think i might have gotten a virus cause my laptop has been moving really slow and also slow on bootup, and im starting to get a please wait message everytime i do a bootup, i scan for virus and malware but all the antivirus apps i use says my laptop is all good. I manage to make it move a little better. Do you have any suggestions?

What is a good antivirus? So many are scams that don’t protect you at all like Norton/Mcafee while slowing your system down and spamming you to upgrade for a significant cost while still not protecting you

Gosh I've been a little naughty and downloaded a game. I got scared cause the download was gone so I thought damn, got myself a virus. Now I have no clue if I had the message "managed by your organization" before the tron scan or because of the scan. So I've been busy for 2 weeks trying to remove that message cause windows defender says to take action but when I trie to delete it or quarantine it, it doesn't do it. Hijacked file win32 host or something like that.
Now I hear you say that the organization is me. That tron did this. I've run tron again and it doesn't say I have a virus or anything wrong but my windows defender keeps saying yes there's a problem.
Omg what the heck is going on?! I'm a noob so I really don't know what I'm doing 😅

Dude tron destroys PCs it doesn't effectively work all the time... & can actually damage the Operating System instead but nice video anyways. I just prefer using a quick Malwarebytes scan or other tools one by one to take out specific viruses or best option most likely would be a full re-install of the OS until you've learned your lesson right? And that being not downloading & infecting your own system.
