Hi everyone! So I mainly use PTGI HRR 2.1 for my videos because of the better performance it provides over HRR 3.0, but I wanted to take a closer look at how the two shaders compare regardless of performance. I kept the settings the same on both the shaders to make this as fair of a comparison as possible although with some tweaking I'm sure you could get them to look more similar to each other especially in regards to exposure. Which one do you like more?
Ответитьwhat texture pack are u using here?
ОтветитьAre you having trouble seeing rain or snow drops when it rains or snows?
Ответитьsadly no amd support for hrr 3.0
ОтветитьSonic Ether really took 2.1 and said "let's add HDR"
Ответитьafter that the pc will BRRRRTTT
ОтветитьSEUS shaders are always just so inexplicably NUTTY when it comes to sheer realism. everything from the lighting to the tones... this man gets down to business when someone tells him to make a realistically accurate shader, he MAKES it
ОтветитьIt's so cool in videos until you start playing. Try to place a light in darkness and then break it. You'll be SHOCKED how bad it is. This is what we must compare.
ОтветитьI cant wait to get enough money to afford seus and that physics mod to make ultimate better graphics than cyberpunk minecraft
Ответитьcan anyone give me the setting for hrr 3
ОтветитьBro how do you get your game to run so smoothly on HRR 3.0, I have basically the same specs as you , I'm trying to use sodium to get my frames up and trying to adjust settings but alas I have not figured it out :(
ОтветитьI just wish HRR 3 Was updated to support AMD better
I recently got a 6900XT and was so excited to try PTGI out only to find its extremely broken for AMD
At this point, real life graphics suck
ОтветитьWould it be possible to see the settings you are using for both shader packs? Or at least for HRR3
ОтветитьIs seus ptgi used for Java or bedrock I’m assuming Java because Java gets the mass majority of the coolest looking things but i have seen some nice bedrock ones
ОтветитьHow do you get them to run with good frames
Ответитьray tracing has improved a lot since 2.1, the only things that i didn't like are the colder color grading and that little bit lower gamma in the exposure, but it's luckily customizable
ОтветитьIn darker places or where there is no strong light, 3.0 wins...
Ответитьi have an RTX 3060, what settings should i use on HHR3 for a 60 fps average gameplay? (im getting 30s on 2k and i dont know how to fix)
ОтветитьAnd where are the 3.0? at the web i can only see the SEUS PTGI E12 , the e11, seus renewed and SEUS PTGI HRR Test 2.1
ОтветитьI like 2.1 more because of underwater world is more bright
ОтветитьHonestly, BSL and Chocapic13 are way better. Why? Because the creators of those shaders didn’t make them for money. Sonic Ether is extorting money from younger Minecraft players. That’s fucked up. Mods and shaders should be free. That’s the entire point of modding games. They’re literally free DLC made by random people on the internet.
Ответитьunfortunately i have a "water lighting" bug in version 3.0
The block surfaces show a "underwater wave lighting" near the water, even 5 blocks above the water.
I use minecraft 1.19.2, SEUS PTGI HRR 3.0
i get blackscreen with hrr 3 and super noisy reflections with hrr 2.1
ОтветитьI have an urgent question.
Im playing with ptgi hrr 3.0. it looks fantastic. however now that im playing 1.19, frog lights dont seem to be recognized as a light block (yet?). Does anybody have the same issue, or do you know if a newer version is in the works to fix this? looking forward for any reply
3.0 way better imo
ОтветитьMaaan, why can my computer run videos of it, but if I were to try an run the game, it'd catch on fire.
ОтветитьTexture 🤮🤮🤮🤮 resulotion
ОтветитьIn my opinion hrr 3.0 is much softer / realistic
ОтветитьIn HRR 3.0 I cant tell the difference between real life and that
ОтветитьI don't like 3.0 personally. The torches are not bright enough, even when I max out the brightness in the shader settings. And sunlight feels more sterile. Not as warm and coasy as 2.1. I much prefer the look and brightness of 2.1, Which really sucks, because 2.1 doesn't work with the newer blocks and light sources. Both are practically unusable in caves for me because of that.
Ответить3.0 is more realistic but 2.1 looks like it'll be usable for playing because of better visibility. Also better because you said 2.1 has more performance
ОтветитьI think this is a good change, seus did always seem too green to me
ОтветитьI would use HRR 3 but it makes stairs glow at night and weird flashing patterns on the floor at sunset
Ответитьmy specs is good like
i7 9th gen
1050ti GTX
it will run??
always wanted to play with shaders but never been able to since my bad pc, finally upgraded to a good cpu and 3070 cant wait to try out ptgi. looks amazing :D
ОтветитьHow are your jumps so smooth?
ОтветитьNice video, the transition betwen the 2 shader is nice
Ответитьwait when did you change your name? I couldn't find you for a bit
ОтветитьHRR2.1 doesn't have some cool bugs that HRR3 does. So custom model lights for instance don't work, which enable one to make custom emissives (that look more real honestly such as having internal reflection in the emissive like in a fluorescent light fixture). Also HRR2.1 has water gi issues I believe and the global illumination in large rooms isn't that good/realistic. Also exposure was broken last time I used it. Basically, tech wise HRR3 is just better overall, even if more demanding.
ОтветитьI feel like 3.0 is more for modern builds and cinematic showcases.
ОтветитьIt's actually path tracing (which is a little more advanced than ray tracing but mostly the same)
ОтветитьWhich is better optimized? Btw i really love the cinematics🔥🔥
Ответить3.0 is too saturated for my taste. 2.1 feels just right, is very visible, etc.
Ответитьand 3.0 is better
