I would love to be a wife and part time youth minister. I’m sick to death of the rat race. Never went to prom- wasn’t asked. I had great friends but I’m still lonely. I abuse food but the other way around. It’s my stress button.

So she traded one eating disorder for another? She’s not healed or recovering, now she’s just eating more to cope

She doesn’t necessarily look like she’s at a healthy weight now.

Appreciate you very much for sharing this touching story with us; learning all about anorexia and how it has impacted so many families was extremely beneficial. Thank you so much for posting your incredible story with each other!

There was absolutely nothing shared about how she recovered, IF she recovered. It seems like she is struggling with her weight today which gives you the impression that the anorexia wasn't really dealt with-we definitely learnt nothing about how she coped or is coping from this video. It's far from enough to say that size doesn't matter, because anorexia is primarily not about size. It's about acceptance and being scared of losing self-control. This video is sugar coated and provided nothing to learn. Too bad.

She is right when she talks about eating disorders being genetic, but a son is at just as great a risk as a daughter. Eating disorders are not a "girl" illness. They are also a biologically based genetic disorder, not about "control".

Wait, it went from "I got pregnant" and they didn't even discuss HOW she dealt with anorexia and pregnancy. She's also had two more sons...so what the heck.
