You always have good tips. I downloaded your Practice Journal, and made 20 copies and made a goal of 5 months. I use one journal a week since each journal covers Mon -Sun.of My focus and intention for the week. . It's a great way to track my progress and work on things that are difficult. It really has been helpful. I'm discovering the more I learn, the more there is yet to learn!!!!

I've learned a lot watching the Disney's special Get Back - the new horizons Billy Preston opened to the Beatles, lots of experiments, revivals, ideas, practice - and, of course, the rooftop concert!

I just finished your first kick start series (took me about a month and half cuz I kept going back and doing the lessons).. the day 9 and 10 episode I still can’t do at your pace and find a little intimidating, to be honest!.. I find switching strings a little difficult and can’t do it so quickly… I do try and focus on which string I have to move onto next, like you mentioned in one of the episodes… I want to be able to play a song, at least a simple one.. any suggestions please what can I do to get better ..? Other than practising everyday..
also sometimes I find myself struggling with dead notes .. trying to keep the fingers close to the frets and keeping my nails trimmed too 😅

Good tips. One thing that makes me want to practice is learning songs that I love and that challenge me.

Could someone please help me.. I just bought a new baritone to save me knocking my expensive one... Used my tuner as always DGBE and the G burst way before reaching the key.. So purchased more. AND Found I have to set the tuner to 'c' Did that and the G (3rd string) Is really loose and deep... Why is this and if I were to tighten in I know its gonna whip out an eye or worse!!

What do you do with all the gig bags you get with your uke's

I just received my brand new Kala SCAC-T tenor uke today! It is so beautiful and plays so much well. It replaces my LTP soprano. I’ve enjoyed your videos and look forward to many happy hours of music!

Thanks for your videos, am working my way through them! How often do I need to change the strings on my Kala Tenor. I have had it for a few years, am a beginner.

Put a uke in the Toilet.. and a chord chart on the back of the door.
