For those who are having problem with the SQL driver just add <sql> in your .pro file after the core and gui. It will be fine. Peace;

I have followed every step you have done and I still get that same error. The only thing i have done differently is i used the online installer for qt and installed version 5.8, with the src files included, and i did a full install of MySql and have the Connector C 6.1 folder and just used the path to that \lib file. Do you have any suggestions as to why I am still getting this error? Thank you in advance
