Titanfall 2 by Blaidan in 1:20:33 - Summer Games Done Quick 2023

Been watching GDQ since like 2011 and I can't remember the last time I was so entranced by a run. This was some incredible stuff!

My mental health is rapdily reaching an ATL. That means all time low, not Atlanta.

Bry is such a good commentator. Made this run so much better than it already was.

The audience was hype
The donations were so friendly and hype
The commentator and host were both great
The runner popped off too. Even the mistakes were cool because it shows the human error and it brings up topics too

Amazing run, the movement in this game just makes it perfect for speedrunning at a high level.

Watching blaidan fly though Effect and Cause after spending ages trying to figure out the time travel puzzles is insane

This is the first Titanfall 2 speedrun I've seen, and my god Blaidan is skilled at this game.

I know that Obsidian now is nothing like old Obsidian, I know that same goes for Blizzard. I wish this was untrue for Respawn. They made some great games, and then some good games. And now it's just ape legends. I want Titanfall 1 to be revived, I love Titanfall 2, and I wish we had Titanfall 3. At this point, I am sure that if we get the third game, it's going to be nothing like 1 or 2, and it might be a downgrade for those who enjoy the technical movement and fast pace of TF2 and great down-to-earth interstellar warfare atmosphere of TF1.

Awesome game. Wish it had the popularity Apex legends did. It definitely deserves it.

This was a blast to watch with all the tricks and sick movement and great commentary that made it even more enjoyable to watch.

Couch popping off when runner does something awesome makes this 1000% better

I haven’t been watching tf2 speedruns for a while so weird question is blaidan nonbinary. Bryanato referred to blaidan as “they” so I’m purely curious

That BT was an absolute banger and masterclass of why having movement tech like this in a game is insanely awesome. Even though its super fast and tough to see whats going on, its incredibly entertaining and looks super cool.

The epitome of speedrunning. Its ironic that I used to run HL1 and TF2 being a modified source game, there really is a lot of similarities.

If anyone says that video games only cause violence and anti-social behaviour, show 'em the closing comments from this run. So wholesome. Congrats on the run, Blaidan. Top notch skill.

Such a cool speed-run and my first time watching Titanfall 2 gameplay since having played it years ago! For a FPS and a robot-buddy game, both genres being somewhat saturated, this videogame was SO well put together with its incredible parkour system and set-pieces. It's criminal how badly timed the release was! Would LOVE to see Respawn make a sequel to this some time in the future.
