The best thing about swapping the affinity is the possibility to upgrade your main once he/she hit the level cap. Took me some time to figure it out but hey, sometimes we all have brain freeze

Also if you have more of one type of shard you can change his element and use that type of shard to increase his rank

I am so used to hording items that I think I am hindering myself in this game. Potions for instance. I view them as brews from Raid, and thus want to save them up. I realize that will not work because the level of difficulty of opponents ramps up quick. Thank you for showing why changing your characters element is so important. I might make it past wave 1 now on stage 2, lol.
