I have and never will play this game. Watching these chases are enough to give me anxiety 😮 definitely the scariest horror game ever.

Man I wish we had Outlast 2 chases cause god dam you just haul ass and run at max speed like your life depends on it and I like it. I wish they brought that speed into The Outlast trials cause now you run at the same speed as in the 1st Outlast

Dude, you make the chases in this game look like they're straight out of a horror movie lol

Man! Even if I haven't play Outlast 1 and 2, those chase sequences get me tensed up and clinching my teeth. The excellent chase music adds to the horror. When just watching someone play a horror game scares even me, you know it did its job well.

Have to be honest. Outlast series and Alien Isolation are only true scary games i ever played.
Resident evil is horror/action and not pure horror/survival. It doesn't have terrifying atmosphere like Alien and Outlast do.

What happened to “Every encounter?

The guy that made these gameplays doesn't have any sense of fear or survival instincts! He always looks back ,makes sure to stop and let characters catch up to him if they are left far behind (just for the conpany), barely locks or blocks doors (does it only when its absolutely necessary) and even fools around with them sometimes doing circles around obstacles and stuff... Oh and he also just stands in plain sight and waits for them to spot him in times he can just do it more stealthily.

I am not the one who's playing, but why this giving me anxiety ?

Bro is a menace to just wait for the killer to arrive and run in Circles to make a fool out of it

This game always causes me anxiety.. No game makes me feel like this.. Unfortunately, his last game, in my opinion, lost its intensity.. Being able to defend yourself from your aggressors. But without a doubt the best of its genre.

For Outlast 1 I like Male Ward Chase the most
For Outlast 2 I like the first chase where everyone in the village is chasing you and the one on the roof

I feel for even the worst of those psychos you face in 1. They were all just people once, and murkoff turned them into something else

Outlast is easily still the best horror game I’ve ever played. Whistleblower was the cherry on top. I really hope Trials is able to add DLC or something that will bring back that old fashioned outlast feeling.

The combination of stress and fear in chases are the best in outlast series.

Best chase male ward. Most stressful the one where you lead them out of the elevator so they you can get back in in outlast 2. Mostly cause your character gets EXHAUSTED.

I got to say I love the first outlast but the second one was incredibly annoying. They basically took everything about the first one that anyone would have hated an amplified it times 1,000. There is an extreme lack of direction in the second one to the point where most of the game is you just crawling through the darkness trying to figure out which way to go as well as most enemies. Not making a sound at all when they walk so they can pretty much appear right behind you without you having any idea because it's pitch black around you all the time. Outlast one was scary but I never ever felt like it was trying to get a cheap scare out cuz it was too dark to navigate and I never ever had a problem finding where I was supposed to go.

Outlast games are on a whole other level of scary. Truly terrifying and anxiety inducing.

Marta's chase in the small town was easy to pass when I realized that I had only to go around the whole street and go through the wall in order to escape her and push the wagon to the gate.
