The Fast Flow and other big ones would be good for multiday trips. I find it hard to find a good container for water; plastic jugs taste yucky and don't stay even slightly cool. Like when we go to my Mom's, the kids don't like her well water. But their regular water bottles only hold 16-20oz. It's a pain to take 3 water bottles each!
I have a Stanley French Press and it was quite nice for a week long camping trip. If I recall though, you couldn't drink from it directly. That sucked but it was still a good cup of coffee for camping!
