I remember watching the news when these killings were going on. The thought of being killed while randomly walking around, minding your own business, made me feel for the residents of DC. Then to find out why these killings were happening was just hard to believe. Blaming his wife and children is just ridiculous. She seems like a really nice, intelligent woman who didn't ask for any of this.

I'm in Australia and I remember during this time, I'd wake up in the morning and check the news to see if another poor person had been killed or if they found him. It was amazing - I'm on the other side of the world! He really manipulated that young boy and look at what his life has become... Mildred seems like a lovely, strong and very level headed person. Glad, at least, she's safe. It really was like a sick movie came to life!

Why did they change their religion? How was that supposed to help? I know a lot of people will find this ridiculous but, there have been several cases of army personnel going to the gulf & changing into this really dark personality. It has been attributed to some paranormal influence on them while they were serving in the deserts of the Middle East.
