ОтветитьI'd like to see the frame hes using ....is it angled for the neck? I'm still trying to find a way to fire clay portraits .. finding and using right frame in certain angled head poses looking downwards for example , for me is probelm ..I use masking tape it can be burnt out but as news paper fumes are very toxic , its best if you can remove a lot of it. I had to get used to when clay was dried out enough to cut sulpture open.... plus sculpture needs hollowing out to 1/4 thickness to help prevent the caboom effect in the kiln. I found a type of grogged clay thats good for this type of work which really helps, as it dries out quicker. This is amazing work. Just watching this video everything appears with such ease ,where as i have to meaure everthing ongoing and still mess up lots . His wonderful craft gives away his time served expertese. How i wish i could go to one of his classes but im in the wrong country again!

ОтветитьПотрясающая работа! Огромное спасибо! Прекрасный урок!
ОтветитьWowwwww 👌🏼❤️👌🏼awesome 👌🏼
ОтветитьFWIW: a casting should be hollow...not solid....this guy is talented but never make a solid casting....unnecessary and not as strong...after about a half inch, a layer of burlap soaked in the casting material should be laid on the inside of the mold... The best way to get a good casting is to pour the material into the mold and then pour it out. Do this several times to avoid bubbles.....you don't want a noseless person.!!
ОтветитьWonderful your hands
ОтветитьDid you use shellac on the wet soil clay? Is this a latex mould isn't it?
