I'm sure She'll be heartbroken at having to hand back a useless award...🙄

Shes still rich and still free.

The removalmof the CBE is a meaningless action designed to placate the public whilst doing nothing to get justice.

If British people had any guts, she'd be worried for her safety, but she isn't.

We are weak

Call me sceptical and I'm not sure this has been discussed at all but I think the PO had a vested interest in pursuing these so called losses, not only by boosting profits by chasing these imaginary losses (money going in to suspense accounts and then being used to boost profits) but also reducing costs by dismissing sub post masters they'd no longer have to pay their salaries? Were the PO doing this to reduce costs without having to break contracts/pay redundancy - shame on you!  how many sub post masters been removed from role with a double bubble , fake money losses recovered and no longer having to pay their wages - a very clever way of sacking staff?

Bet my pension his tax dodging wife and the likes of Mogg, Farage and all the other tax dodgers are making money from Fujitsu who are STILL running the post office software. Refuse to admit to this day they are responsible for these innocent deaths and this corrupt Tory party still giving them billion pound contracts. Of course, their UK CEO donated thousands to the party. Tory party today disgusts me.

I had a post office credit card after 12 months in having it I was charged a lot of interest. The lady on the phone told me saying Richard no no you charged a little but no interest withdrawal cash on your credit card. After than I notified the card company I Sean to pay more than I should have and another lady refunded the proceeds of the cash take from my account and returned the over payment of interest fees. When I closed my credit card down with the post office I received a letter that they waited another £234 to be paid so I went into a bank in Exeter a America lady said we charge for payment in this bank and she said that’s a lot of many they wait from you to close down your credit card and she recognised me as I use the old post office that was built in the 1975 in Bedford Street Exeter it’s a small world.

THE CONSERVATIVES AND LABOUR KNEW ABOUT THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT BOTH FUJITSU AND THE POST OFFICE.. THEY WERE BOTH PARTY TO CORRUPTION AND CONDUCTING CRIMES UNDER BRITISH LAW, BRITISH LAW IS VERY CLEAR, TO FRAUDULENTLY DEPRIVE AN INDIVIDUAL, BUSINESS OR COMMUNITY OF MONIES WITH THE INTENT TO PERMANENTLY DEPRIVE SAID , IS COVERED UNDER THE THEFT ACT... SCOTLAND YARD SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN CALLED IN, THIS ADDS TO THE CORRUPTION HERE....
ACCOUNTABILITY BREAKS DOWN WHEN A SELF POLICING COMPANY COMMITS CRIMES CLEARLY EXPOSED... THE COUNTRY NEEDS TO FORCE THE GOVERNMENT TO GET THIS SORTED... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH....
POST OFFICE COUNTERS LTD HAS BEEN SELF SERVING ITS INVESTORS... OVER YEARS OF MONOPOLISING A SYSTEM OF CASH MOVEMENT AND THE MULTI BILLION GIRO SYSTEM.
AN INVESTIGATION SHOULD BE INSTIGATED INTO THE MASSIVE PROFITS AND HOW THEY WERE GAINED...
IT MAY WELL BE TIME TO STRIP THE POST OFFICE OF ITS SELF GOVERNMENT.. NOW !!!

If it takes Toby Jones' acting to find impetus towards equitable justice how many more cases can he portray whilst he's still alive as I've no doubt there could be some serious billable hours here, potentially enough to make law firms jealous - although no doubt some will be greedily eyeing the opportunity to bill for advice on Horizon and any other scandals that ought be brought forward for the aforementioned equitable justice which has been so often denied.

Sir Keir Starmer needs to explain why he did not intervene in the Horizon Post Office scandal when director of public prosecutions.

Sir Keir, held the position between 2008 and 2013 before moving into politics.

His time in the role overlapped part of the period in which Post Office branch managers were convicted because of the Horizon computer system showing that money was missing.

What kind of justice system does the UK have? Every judge, every prosecutor, and every IT "expert" who played a role in the post submasters' convictions should be forced to contribute to the funds paid to the victims of their dereliction.

Pathetic posturing by sunak. He has seen a moving bandwagon that has a lot of public support and so is trying to look like he is trying to do something. Typical tory opportunism to try and cling to power. Just like the VIP lane was for stuffing money in their friends pockets while others suffer. The sooner he is evicted from power the better.

Fair play he cannot solve this super quick, but he must bend rules to move much faster than the rules normally allow.
May I suggest a 1 million pound payout to everyone under the simple condition that you can continue to pursue your justice how you see fit and govt will help to move things quickly, and if your final settlement is less you pay nothing back, if you final settlement more is more you get a top up.

I think the institutionalised racism that has been rampant within the Post Office far longer should also be addressed....... it´s a diabolical sham of a corporation. It´s been run by an entitled elite of executives with no accountability and complete immunity from the persecution, prosecution and suffering they imposed on innocent, hard working people! They need a taste of their own medicine!!! Compensation for the sub-postmasters should be paid from their own pockets!

Why did it take an ITV drama to force the Government to take action? Absolutely shocking! Private Eye have been reporting on this for 12 + years. How will they compensate those who took their own lives or have died since? It’s also time to stop saying the Post Office and say the UK government because that’s who are to blame.
