Every time I export a big video it crashes I had a tech guy check and see if it was my pc and everything looked good so he’s guessing it’s the app

The best solution I've found is switching to another editing software.
I simply couldn't rely on Premiere anymore. I let it slide for many years, but having to deal with worse and worse crashes and bugs really made me quit Premiere altogether. It's such a pity for such a huge company to flop so bad on one of it's primary software, in fact getting worse by the year...

Hi Motion Array:) My Premiere 22 has started to crash when opening one specific project I am currently working on, out of nowhere. All other projects open normally. I've tried to reset preferences and clear cache before opening that specific project, but no luck. Can you please advise any solution? Thanks!

For some reason, when i reinstalled premiere, it started crashing on every action! I just opened it today and it started crashing when i tried adding a sequence! but after the mercury playback thing (the first solution), it started working better! thanks, man!

If you cant find the file AppData to delete cache files on a PC go to Control Panel, Appearances, Show hidden Files,. Etc

my pc has been having problems and i almost just restarted it at the begginning lmao

my premiere crashed 14 times when I was editing for the full day!! Thanks for the tutorial, setting it to software only seemed to have worked. My graphics card is a Nivida 2070 Max-Q so I am pretty sure I have the right pc xD

I’m having this problem whether is editing in premiere or rendering in media encoder. I clear all caches and had all my drivers up to date even the Adobe softwares last ones un 2021. But my pc just reboot all of sudden is getting really annoying. My specs are i7 5820k at 3.6 ghz 32 gb of ram and a GTX 980ti. Any solution???

This actually helped me. I am using a PC with integrated graphics (I have no dedicated graphics card); so my computer kept freezing/crashing. Changing it away from GPU Acceleration to Software Only helped my video export without freezing/crashing. Thank you!

I think I have a problem not listed here.
I've been working on ONE project for about 2 days, and I only have about 5 minutes of it done. However, While I was working on it today, it suddenly crashed. Now, every time I open that One project that i NEED to finish, it will crash.

Any fixes?

changing the processing to software is such bad advice......the rest is good.

I just switched to Resolve. Exported the XML from PP. I have "crossed my fingers" for years and this has happened too often in time crunches. I can't.
