Asmon, i'm not a twitch follower (i don't pay much attention to twitch in general lately tho), but regarding your reaction about the camels... yes - there's camels, in fact in the base game there's a desert kingdom called the Aserai (their leader is a Sultan) whose cavalry is strongly focused on camels. They still have horses mind you, but their best cav is by far the camels. Only downside is they haven't implemented proper animal behavior - like horses hating camels as in real life, or rather fearing them but i'm not sure which was correct.

P.S. 700 ppl all on horseback? that could rly backfire on you depending on the enemy you fight and the Tier of their troops... for example - a Battanian wall of shields and spears can stop your charge dead in its tracks... while a Khuzait skirmisher cav will just run circles bleeding your forces with a thousand small cuts.
Also - there's 8 factions total, 3 of which are the broken Calradian empire (you have Northern, Western and Southern empire).

There is nothing more satisfying in gaming than a 1000 Vs 1500 battle in bannerlord where you're hopelessly outnumbered but manage to clutch a win by using perfectly timed and well thought out tactics combined with encirclement and brutal mass murder of your frantically retreating enemies. Or even being elected king of a struggling kingdom and leading it towards peace and prosperity. Or even a humble business owner just trying to survive the endless wars. It's one of my all time favourite games.

The best is when the horses start dropping to ranged weapons and you watch the rider get thrown.

Someone show him the Kingdoms of Arda, Shokuho, Sword and Musket/Napoleonic Mods

a guy called DEATH killed me when i first joined and i still have dreams of killing him(in game) this was some long time ago. some people talk about their wars from warband like it is history. A true experience.

Wondering. So is this possible because under the hood it's a well made single player game combined with a good choice of network architecture strapped on as a mod? Like maybe a P2P system sat on top of the game, maybe? Furthermore, like, lots of PVPers are trying all the other small dev team siege pvp games (and complaining) but all the time this is sat here waiting to give the pvp siege players what they want... Strange

I hope this makes more people wanna play bannerlord on console seeing it’s almost entirely dead apart from the same 6 players you see every time, but that’s really just the devs fault it doesn’t get pop unlike the pc servers it’s lame without the patches , player numbers or modding

Check out the game of thrones conversion mod, it maps all of westeros and essos etc you get flying dragons that breathe fire, can marry who ever be every faction, including wight walkers and giants

The fact that you could do this this WITH A LOT OF PLAYERS on warband online and a bunch of people are treating now bannerlord like descovering fire piss me off xd

This mod off the radar.... ??? I mean man... Persistent World was, with crpg, the most famous mod overhaul of Mount and Blade. Everyone who played it knows about Persistent Empires. Still you're doing good to advertise it, eventhough I'm afraid that you've been paid to do so!!! 2M subscribers, you don't do this for free.... what a sad world we live in.... nothing is pure and honest anymore, just damn dirty money and we population just suffer about it

I fuckin love bannerlord but I'm in Australia and I barely ever see any more than 20 or so people in Oceania servers and NA or EU servers are to laggy for me :( is there a solution to this or am I forever destined to just be sad?

I played Mound and Blade and all the variants (Warband, With Fire and Sword) quite a lot. The problem with the sequel is that it did not add much over the first game despite 15+ years of development, performance is poor and the non-battle elements are janky and broken.

I played M&B for a year or so back when it was stil being developed and it was tons of fun but had a lot of problems only solved by extensive mods. When I stopped, the game was only getting better though. Maybe I'll have to give it a shot again!

Check out Anvil Empires! release date not announced yet but it's from the same creators of Foxhole. Same concept just medieval and you build your own castles and stuff. Was a huge fan of foxhole but unfortunately dwindling player base has made it not as fun. Hoping Anvil Empires is successful!

I enjoyed playing the first one more than any assassins creed game.. it's so fun chucking spears from horseback or smashing shields apart with a giant mace
